  1. Definitly this tootal mission need a reborn... I love it. I ll give it a go to rewrite it and improve it with ATME scripting engine instead. It will be easier to manage Mp with that one. Able to manage troops transport in a better cinematic also than ctts or ctld.

Si oui je t'envois le lien et tu m'appelles. :music_whistling::megalol: edit : Oui maintenant que tu le dis, je crois qu'il y a en ce moment un bug DCS sur les avions alignés au décollage. Je m'en suis aperçu dans une mission d'entrainement faite par mes soins pour le spit, ou j'avais du " en l'air" du au sol froid, au sol démarré, et en piste. le en piste est provisoirement cassé. comme en multi avec mes potes on demarre froid du parking, ça me dérange pas plus que ça. pour tes besoins choisis, " en vol" et ça marchera. le " on runway" fonctionnera quand ils auront réparés le bug .

[ EN language lua and miz joined] the aim of this user module is to give some usefull information about ATC, active runway, and airport around for Caucasus Theatre it's not in any case cheating because it's like having in cockpit some paper kneeboard information you'll still have to turn the knob.;-) but without losing time to search data no matter the Aircraft used. on Airfield ground, the script with the F10 user menu will gives you 1 airport information in flight you'll have the choice for nearest airport in a specific NM radius ( see adjustable module variable ) If anyone want to improve it to work also on NTTR and retrieve all necessary airfield data in an other data table in var , feel free to give it a try ;-). Any idea to get the aircrafts lined up ?" easy in the mission editor set your aircraft inair or on runway or hotstart there is a specific setting for that. for respawn in an other aircraft once crashed. I don't think there's a way to do that in ME or scripting. seem's a bit arcadish too... in my mind.:music_whistling:
  5. BS is a fire platform can be very accurate, wich need lot of concentration from one pilot and advanced electronic system. but i don"t really enjoy it. It's slow. Mi8 is a powerfull transport Helo. (My best loved module so far). love to fly it in mountains and follow the ground or land in small valley or climb easily a "wall" where huey or other helo will stay here. you can have up to 120 Rocket, witch can be a blast of power if used with concentration. but firinig platform is less less acurate than a BS of course. sling load and troops transport is the best mission for it.

As an occasional mission maker, and lua noob, I enjoy multiplayer mission making, with randomized events to have fun with my friends, and to keep some "surprise" and unknow events doing stuff like that in original mission editor, can be long and repetitive. the more aircraft player you allow the more conditions you have to trigger. With ATME it was so fun to devellop new module and missions. It's an Awesome tool ! Just give it a try, you can now do complex mission easily. Not matter your level in Lua, noobs like me or more advanced lua user will find here some incredible function and stuff, event handler to personalize, and give some "life" to their Multiplayer missions. basic lua knowledge like table or logical operator still needed but it's easy now to learn on the way, once you anderstood the ATME simple logic ( handler events --> specific action in your user module event relative defined ) HAVE FUN ! Hope to see quickly a lot of new modules and mission develloped with this awesome tool. Thanks a lot to Sunski34 for this great and faboulous contribution to the DCS flight sim community. thanks for the amount of work given to this. Long life to ATME ! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::D

  11. released thanks for all the kind words. final release is on DCS user files and will be available soon. It's the first package of 2 aircrafts from FFL (forces françaises libres ) in Spring 1944. final package has been deeply reworked. ( clostermanV3 and lombaertV2) 1) BUMP normal maps - integrated some "paint" texture in one layer - integrated some bump in metal plate in a second layer ( make it more realistic in my mind) - and last layer is defaut rivet and lines I found a script for the gimp who gives a nice help for Normal bump files. in this post the pdf file will show you what we can do with the Bump NM files. http://registry.gimp.org/node/69 2) Specular have been reworked only the exhaust pipe. my experiment so far show that blue and green are mat rendered ,red is the "white reflect" slider, and yellow pink are reflective. be aware that the Bump file can interact with reflectiv aspect 3) DIF files have been reworked, with more attention to details and historical aspect.   14. no, easy : copy paste an existing folder in your bazar liveries folders, you wanna tweak add your own dds file inside this new one rename it then go into description.lua and change the name at the bottom example of a description.lua name = "RAF, Sq602 FFL Clostermann V2" name_ru = "RAF, Sq602 FFL Clostermann V2" countries = {"UK","FRA"} for sure you'll see your new liverie with the new name you give it

    GIMP?

    I do all my skins with gimp. with dds plugin installed. ( export to DX5 with mipmap) Gimp is also able to open Psd file though. I use it for more than 10 years but learn new stuff, how to use it every time ..and it's free
  19. I had the same problem on the 51 recently . unable to force the new texture on bort zone. It seems bort zone name changed maybe. Have a look inside the F86.edm with a text editor you'll find the correct Bort Zone Name :
  20. V2 is done. clean texture because of clean template achieved ;-) @Ivo that one is without strips. : BE AWARE RAF COLOURS can be very different on 12:00 and 09:00 or 17:00 because of light sun / clouds : try it in the modelviewer to see what i mean. ;-) clostermannV2.rar
  21. After some test, defaut spec and bump is quite better than my experiments... Have to be updateted in the description lua. Delete line 2 and 3 and keep only the dif file
