Don't get to enthousiast. I have the 3080 now. Clocked 9900ks on 5.2 GHz. Rtx 3080 clocked on 2070 MHz. Yes, there is Improvement but very less then I expected. My opinion that I Hope that ED ASAP a New game engine introduces for our New game Systems. Very important step for VR. You'll see what I mean if you upgrade your Systems.

Rtx 3080 up running and 10 percent overclocked. 750 watt Corsair. No problem at all. MSI gaming x trio pulls 350 watt. Just my Two cents. :D

It's in! MSI gaming trio 3080 card came in this morning with the Postman. At last. So time to test myself. :D Can I do Magic? We'll see... :D First impressions. Not the ultimate solution! yes, you can take dcs settings little further like MSAA and distance view, full shadows. But FPS is not much higher then before. Statement! Please ED go for another game engine that makes vr great again. :D thanks.

Well I have a 2080. Performes well in all games except DCS in vr. So I go to the 3080. But I think for Normal gaming I can keep it for Another 2 years. In your position go for the 3070 should cost 500 dollars and some more performance than the 2080ti.

Well it has drropped from 15-09-2020, 15-10-2020 to 12-11-2020. I hope that the reverb G2 is on my desk this year??? :music_whistling:

I never had a issue with my 8GB Vram either. :D Don't know if the 20 GB version will give us extra. I think we must wait again another 2 years, or ED will do magic and wizardry! :D I was overwhelmed that DCS took 32 GB from 64 GB ram... I don't get that. DCS non optimized coolest game ever. Title for the book of records. :D But i am waiting now for my RTX 3080 gaming x trio to test, play and have a lot of fun! Besides that next month is my HP reverb G2 coming in! :D

Oeps.... Optimize problems are there when playing in VR. But VR is a HUGE STEP for your hardware. I hope a new game engine comes SOONER THEN SOON. Wel unrealengine 5 can handle the job easy in my opinion. But training on the job to learn it for the developers is crucial. Why not a little test bed for the ED team! :D Port it over....

Well I could pay it, but there was nothing on stock. I bought the rtx 3080 too. I am not Rich, but saves money for THIS a Year Long!
