One detail, GE engines use spray bars while PW engines use stages and manifold rings. Between MIN AB and MAX AB, the PW engines (the ones on the F-15C/E) will vary the AB fuel flow by changing how many rings are introducing fuel into the combustion chamber. When you go full thrust in the F-15, depending on model (I can't remember how many stages the -220 and -229 have), it goes really fast. You can really feel the kick between the stages. This is not very pronounced on the -229 though (it has fewer stages too IIRC - Could be wrong).
GE engines don't use stages however, they have fully variable injectors. Regardless if it's MIN or MAX, all spray bars are introducing fuel into the combustion chamber. It's much smoother.
I hope that helps, just my 2 cents.
