Yeah sure, but I'm talking about the structure of the aircraft. It can not support the forces of the impact during the touchdown with a very aggressive FPM, the aircraft was not developed for that, same with the tailhook.

More practice? What do you mean? The F-5 isn't supposed to land on carrier deck at all. :) The broken landing gear is result of something you shouldn't be doing. In theory, since this is a sim, not really a problem. But still.

I think a lot of these bugs with lighting have to do with the deferred shading. New technology being used so there are a bunch of bugs coming up because of the new lighting. One example is how the cockpit looked green on Normandy when taxing or flying above the grass. Not sure if this is related to the issue above but AFAIK deferred shading is responsible for these issues.

I spoke to Leatherneck/M3 today and they told me the MiG-21 cockpit is receiving an overhaul. Nicholas, this is a known issue. Sometimes ED breaks the lighting system of the game for some reason. I've seen this many times, and it happens once in a while, most of the lighting gets broken, especially the cockpit lights, floodlights are the best example. I doubt it's HB's fault. A-10C floodlight is also broken, as well as the F-5E, AV-8B, and others.

That was amazing. Watching two rockets landing in formation, vertically, must be the most beautiful thing of this century, yet.

I remember asking the same question over a year ago during a livestream (22/01/2017) and Nicholas said it was on the top of the list. But it doesn't seem to be the case honestly. Over a year ago.

Paying for a cockpit update? If you want to help ED, keep buying their modules. That helps a lot.

ED acknowledged it and is working on it. I think the question now is when. I'm excited because I always suffered from memory leak.

To be honest the FLIR is working beautifully now, no more hot trees. It's not just "good enough", it's pretty good. It's always been the case with 2.x though, 1.5 terrain was the problem. Not sure how better it can get with future updates...
