  1. I can do the entire approach in the Su-33 with just trim and roll input. Pretty easy. The A-10C is a bit more complicated, but it's also easy and it makes 100% sense. Just follow the instruments. In the Su-33 you're following a ball, no throttle at all. I.e; keeping the aircraft datum in the middle of the Nav mark.
  2. March would be great. My BD was a few days ago and having the release of the Hornet at the end of the month would be very nice! Something tells me it's not the case though. I guess we will have to wait and see.

    F-15E?

They thought about the F101 from the Bone AFAIK. But that thing is huge.
  4. In the Su-33, I use Auto-throttle, and I keep the aircraft within the ball on the HUD. It works just fine. But the way I do does sound wrong. I am keeping my aircraft within the ball using the pitch, instead of throttle, since the throttle is being controlled by the aircraft systems. I find quite impossible to keep my A-10C aligned with the yellow bars on the ADI using just throttle though, I need to pitch up and pitch down a bit, but just a bit, using the trim. But the altitude is mainly controlled by the throttle.
  5. Awesome photos. What camera did you use?
  6. Using "throttle for GS and stick for AOA" when landing Just noticed I wrote magnitude instead of magnetic. Sorry for the typo. Thanks!
  7. Using "throttle for GS and stick for AOA" when landing I noticed you're using 64° which is the magnetic north for the Kobuleti airfield, which one should I use, MN or true north? I always used TN, never felt right to be honest, depending on the airfield.
  8. Makes a lot more sense. Thanks!
  9. Hehe, To be honest, I just googled "End of spring, 2018". But that's the southern hemisphere, in north America, it should be around the middle of the year IIRC.
  10. Spring 2018 in Southern Hemisphere will begin on Saturday, September 22. and ends on Friday, December 21 All dates are in Brasilia Time.
  11. Thanks for the replies! I never really used that option, I think the default one works great. I was flying the 109 yesterday and I was able to fly with very little input changes, near to hands off. Although the Spitfire does not have aileron trim, the rudder works fine. But it induces drift.
  12. Reputation System Yes, Yurgon. There is an option to report the message when using the PM in Tapatalk. But the rep button wasn't, so you'd have to open thru the browser.
  13. This might be a bit off topic but what was the reason to not install aileron trim on the German aircraft? I always wondered why that is. Weight saving? reduced complexity when manufacturing the aircraft? Are you saying that keeping the Rudder trim at zero is a mistake? In the special options. Also just noticed there is a typo there, "Rudder tim" :D
  14. Wait a little more... they didn't make the CW Spit for nothing. And they promised the CW Spit, bombs and the fuel tanks. It's coming... it just takes time. :)
  15. He's a "veteran" here on this forum and still doesn't know how to respect others and probably did not read the rules as yet... I think he should be punished instead. I wouldn't really call him a veteran, a true veteran would respect the others. This is a place for everyone. But sounds like you're looking at the negative part of the story. Countless the number of times I spoke to really nice people here because of the rep system. Again, if there is a problem with the current/old system, and it's being abused by a minority, maybe you could forget the rest of the community and pay close attention to those breaking the rules. As I said before, a warning label explaining how you must use the system and in case someone breaks the rules, you can report it (with instructions). I am not gonna lie, there were moments here where I almost lost my mind :D And the rep system prevented me from posting something offensive. I don't want to receive warnings, nor negative reps :) Or even a ban!
  16. That was basically why they removed the rep system.

    F-15E?

Yep. Exactly. F110 is a men's engine. But the F-16s have the GE-129 and 132, which are better engines, not only in terms of thrust but everything else. (the Vipers equipped with GE engines do have a bigger intake, yes, higher airflow, better at lower speeds). The F100-PW-220 and 229 are also pretty good, the safest turbine engines mounted on fighter jets in the world. That thing can hold 30 seconds without any oil pressure. Thunderbirds love them. :D The Strike Eagle with -129 and no CFTs mounted, has an amazing TWR!

    F-15E?

F-15E Still in the works? Yup they did have issues with airflow with the intake system. I don't actually remember exactly but it was fixed later on wasn't it? That's a discussion for other thread but that was it, basically saying. TF30 performed poorly on the F-14, it doesn't mean it was a bad engine. Just depends on how you use it.

    F-15E?

The problem wasn't the TF30 per say, but the way they used the engine. F-14 is a high-performance jet, and the TF30 just couldn't handle the way F-14 was supposed to fly. They shouldn't have used the TF30 in the first place because the capabilities of the F-14 didn't match the capability of the TF30. See, TF30 wasn't a problem on the F-111.
  20. We've advised our friends on our Discord about this. I doubt he will get any attention after this :) If his account doesn't get deleted first...
  21. Yeah it's dark black, you can't see anything. Even with the moon in the sky.
  22. Yes, if they were interested in removing the canted pylons in order to fix the drag/performance issues.
  23. Вау, я удивлен. Это должно быть сложно. No vertical stabilizer too :(
  24. There is no redesign. Who said there is one? :) in fact they aren't doing that any time soon. I am talking about an upgrade, in case someone was interested in removing those pylons.
