I think the Albatros is big fun in COIN-operations. Provided they're not taking place in hyper modern Tom Clancy-environments. I had a ball testing it in my Outremer-campaign (set in the "good old days"). Sure it's dangerous to get shot at but hey, that's combat for you ;)

They must have fixed it now then because I had the canopy (both of them) open before and got game crash anyways. This is a step in the right direction :)

Yeah, you can say so. Updates on Steam are always a bit later than the regular updates. Same goes for new aircraft - for example you can't buy the Mirage2000 on Steam yet. So why use Steam then?! It's a very touchy subject to some sensitive people and you can probably read up on how bad it is on this forum ;) I myself use it because it's problem-free, I have pretty much ALL my games in it (with all licenses etc etc) and well...if I buy something via Steam I will always have it available for my account, just a click away. To put it short: high bandwith, zero problems.

Good catch! For now I've only been mouse-clicking on the buttons...which is just plain idiotic in the middle of combat ;)

The AI-piloted Mirage 2000 is a TOTALLY different creature now (last time I fooled around with it was last September). Today, it's almost impossible to shoot down from a Mig-21 in a guns-only fight. Now in this clip...well I just got LUCKY. And that's that. But my point here is that I'm VERY impressed with the new AI, it really makes the Mirage a scary opponent. As it rightfully SHOULD be :) So, great work Razbam! I'll be gettin' the Mirage once they have it on Steam (yeah I can wait, no worries).

It's fully doable with a chute. But no chute...no nice landing. [ame] [/ame]

UPDATE: I just tried the Mig-21 with my FFB2 again. Strange thing but I didn't really get any feedback at all in tight turns. Maybe I've just imagined everything with the Mig-21?! But for what it's worth, I think you shouldn't really feel very much from the Mig-21's stick.
