It's Kobuleti and it's red coalition as well as the flown nation. Have a similar mission which I use mostly with different aircraft. Almost all airfields are red as well as the nations. Never had such issues in other aircraft. In MB-339 can't get contact even inbound requests or whatever. Also got the automatic message after landing when slow enough to taxi to parking, but nothing else. Only after complete shutdown I can request rearm / refule as well as startup. But I guess this is due to the engine not running and communication working in a different way.

Hello, did a short cold start mission at Kobuleti. track attached. - COM1 (UHF radio) manual set to 262 MHz, also Ch8 set in ME to 262 MHz. - COM2 (U/VHF) set Ch 8 to 133 MHz. - canopy closed, engine not running, COM1 set and COM selector set to COM1 --> startup request okay - after INS alignment and system setup requested taxi to RW okay - reaching end of RW --> no communication - pressing COM1 or COM2 switch, corresponding light showed up on RDU. Does this work for anybody else? I'm a bit confused. Never had such problems using coms with other modules, once correct radio and frequency was selected. edit: What I didn't try was to push and hold the button!? Hello, could someone please check the landing and shutdown training mission? Tried this the second time and it will not commence after inserting the ejection seat safety pin into the seat. Marker will stay on the canopy rail, where the pin was stowed during flight. Putting pin back up and insert again or pressing spacebar will not continue the procedure. I removed this condition marked in red and mission continued successfully.

The devs added a video regarding the parking brake usage

Had only a couple of landings, but with much fuel keeping the right AoA will get you much faster than 100kts. So also keep an eye on your sinkrate. Try to stabilize the approach, cause gauges lagg a bit.

Startup tutorial worked for me. Got the confirmation, that chocks had been removed, even if they are invisible.

The parking brake operation should be pinned or added to FAQ. Push and pull is parking brake, handle rotation is only parking brake lock, but not disengaging it. Took me a while to figure that out.

Wheel chocks was mentioned as known issue / wip item. The parking brake lock / push / pull thing got me too, during my first cold start attempts.

I guess I experienced canopy fogging after a fast decent? Got better after switching on de-mist switch. Anyway, reflections are quite string. Sun was low coming from the rear. Will get used to it. Terrible scratchy sound when rotating too far on takeoff and striking that tail skid, glad there is one.

Had a similar strange com behaviour. Mapped COM1 PTT and COM2 PTT. Frequencies set on both radios. Kobuleti requested startup worked, requested taxi to RW worked. Once reached the RW, was unable to request takeoff clerance. After landing, being at the parking spot, was unable to request re-arm / refuel. Did a complete shutdown and was able to re-arm / refuel with canopy open. Switching COMs on and I also could request startup again (as I'm writing I'm not completely sure if canopy was closed or not for this). No easy com usage for me. Will try next time with empty mission ramp start to get a track.

Do you have any mods enabled? I think there were similar messages after release of Mirage F1 from users having FC3 clickable cockpit mod installed. @razo+r was faster

Traded some ED miles, so the pain with USD --> € exchange was better to live with But wanted to help our Italian friends. Patch downloading.

I guess it's a game thing but in fact you can tune 13x.yy MHz range on the VHF NAV, just turn the knob further. After showing nothing it will eventually switch over, so you can get distance information. Maybe I can provide a screenshot next time. Edit / add screenshots: Just turn further, there will be several clicks where the MHz selection window is blanked out, finally it will show 133, 134 and 135. Here it is tuned to 134.00 MHz showing DME information 67X parking at the ramp in Kobuleti.

Glad I found this thread. Watched some of Wags latest update videos and wondered why my manual in the docs folder dates back to 2021. I can imagine trying to find somebodies work and have to re-write or redo things is not an easy job.

This will hopefully be solved, when the visibility of the safety pin is no more dependent on the radar cover being attached or not.
