no there is no data link in the harrier , how ever you still can get information on your wing man on the HUD using TACAN but it is not as practical as the data link in the A10C

very informative , thanks alot for taking the time to explain , now im sold on a second sensor , the reason i want the second sensor as you have mentioned is to improve the tracking when lets say i turn around and the IR camera cant see the triangle in the back .i have my sensor mounted in front of on my right side . so when i turn left there is no issue but when i turn right i get sometime and not all the time some hiccups , now after your post i understand why.

Any update on MCG pro for Gladiator Pro . its very bad that the Gladiator pro is being left behind

thanks alot thats what i needed to know . i only use the rift for DCS and since 2 sensors will improve the tracking i will get another one .

hello every one As the title would imply im trying to figure out if its okay to get a second sensor for the Oculus Rift. right now its working okay with one sensor setup at the corner of my desk (right corner) facing me however sometime when im flying and checking six i get a hiccup in the tracking . Question is will a second sensor setup at the other corner ( left corner) . will it give better tracking . also i dont have touch controller and i dont want one so will i be able to setup the second sensor with rift only ? or the Rift setup wont accept the second sensor ?

Hey Aerogator , any idea of the availability of the MCG Pro for gladiator pro MKii from Russia website I placed an order from Russia VKB the order # is 6436 . it was placed on January 3rd. the automated mail was sent informing me that they will contact me of the payment method as well as the delivery method however till right now i hadn't receive any mail from them so i can proceed with my payment. at that moment i thought maybe my order got lost or something so i placed another order # 6493 same item and i still didnt receive anything from them . would be possible if you can update me on any of these orders. I also went ahead with the Russian website since i live outside of Europe ( Kuwait ) however there are no option for payment or delivery the website states that i should wait for an email clarifying how to pay and what method they should use to deliver . I usually order from their EU site , i ordered twice with EU site hassle free, have you dealt with the Russian website before , is it trusted .

Im totally confused now , I have the gladiator pro , the guide in the box said to use WIZZO software to be able to have the full function of the Joystick , is WIZZO the same as NJOY 32 or those are different ? do i need both software or one is enough? another thing what is the use of the Mode button ? can i use the pinkey key as a regular key and not a shift key, the reason is i want to make it act as a modifier in DCS so i can use it as a shift key for other controller ie , the throttle controller. right now the pinkey key is not recognized as a button it acts as a shift key only for the grip buttons and not even the buttons on the base of the gladiator pro ?

Do you have any overcolock in your system ? Ram , CPU or VGA card ??

go to the VR settings and check use mouse , that way you dont have to use the movement of your head as the cursor to move the mouse .

im at work and i didnt have access to my pc in order to know where is the file exactly but i gave the name of the file assuming that someone who plays an advanced sim as DCS would have a minimum knowledge of how to search windows for a file

i use the Oculus diagnostic tools that makes sure that it force ASW to off .

is is this software already available ? also can it work with Gladiator Pro Mk ii

the grip is just a grip with no base to it . if you will get the grip that will go along your Thrustmaster base then you dont need to worry about screw holes since you will use the same base , However in my case i got the gladiator pro base which has a different dimensions than the thrustmaster base i had to punch my own holes using a drill .

are you sure the ghosting issue is not from having ASW working ON. try disabling ASW and see if the ghosting issue still exist .

yesterday , i installed my track IR5 after 2 years of setting in box collecting dust , i wanted to learn the harrier while reading the manual . i was exited that i at least i will enjoy the graphics of DCS 2.2 while while i get to learn the Harrier . 10 minutes later i took the track IR off , uninstalled the software and i throw it back in the box, my wife looking at me she asked is something wrong with your Oculus cuz you never used this track IR . i told her no thanx god i just wanted to make sure its working before i put it up for sale :D . if there is one thing i hate about the Rift is that it destroyed any feelings of playing any games on the monitor . i just cant play DCS anymore on 2D .

Jabbers , im sorry if i had to post here but can you tell me what Nvidia driver you are using with VR . im using 388.31 and its giving me bad stuttering in DCS 2.1 before that it was butter smooth like yours but i cant recall what version i was using in order to roll back

ya but with those type of velcro tape you still get a wobbly feeling when moving the joystick especially if the joystick springs need some heavy force to move it around which will create a moment around the base where you fix the tape to. drilling holes took me exactly 10 minutes on a Sunday morning while drinking my coffee literally
