  1. Yeah something is wrong. I tried it with 4 Mig-23 at the same altitude flying towards me at various distances. It always seems to pick the one which is the farthest away from me.
  2. Yes. They did give us a nice lifestream though.
  3. Same here. I trust Heatblur 100% to deliver a fantastic product. Thus I will gladly pay 10$ more for it a few weeks after it has been released. I just want to see a few Youtubers try it out to see what EA limitations and bugs are present before I buy it.
  4. Just the basic loadout really. 2 AIM-9X and a centerline fueltank. I guess I am just out of practice.
  5. What a tragedy. I can't imagine how traumatised the pilot must be.
  6. I guess. I'll leave the criticism for the real life hornet pilots to pass on for the future. Apparently one of them flew the DCS Hornet very recently anyway and deemed the flight model to be too draggy still. What do I know though. They'll figure it out anyways, it's just such a subjective topic. About the AOA thing, I never had problems with that. I think it had more to do with the fact that it has been over two weeks since I last booted up DCS. I just had to pull back the throttles more aggressively in order to not float too much. The whole thing just doesn't feel 100% natural or...right yet? But again, what do I know. The flight model is still WIP after all. Still, thank you for the tips. I will try out the 180kts thing. Until now, I dropped everything at 200ish kts.
  7. Interesting. Thank you for the replies. Goes to show how subjective this topic is.
  8. Feels a lot draggier now, even though you have to push the nose down on final. I completely botched the first few carrier landings today. Did you guys notice any differences as well? I’m kinda confused.
  9. That’s awesome. Jester is going to be completely next level once he’s finished.
  10. Nice!
  11. My guess would be end of February. I hope they don‘t rush it just because of the christmas holidays! On the other hand, I wish them a little time to relax as well, so let‘s hope for the best.
  12. That‘s basically the opposite from Wag‘s mini updates. It also doesn‘t correlate with his screenshot. That‘s a little bit confusing.
  13. That‘s great to hear, Victory. Thank you for the insights.
  14. I wouldn't have guessed that some pilots simply turned it off completely. I guess it makes sense for landing, as you watch the ball anyway. AOA is also right in front of you. Man this is going to be something else.
  15. What do you mean by that?
  16. Interesting input. I guess it‘s a fine line in real life.
  17. Noooooo. I had one of your videos bookmarked to enjoy later. I should have known better. Sorry about that.
  18. Frankly speaking, I'm glad that Heatblur decided not to go down the 100% correct brevity route as it would feel very steril. Neither would it be realistic, I suppose.
  19. Beamscanner provides some feedback as well in the bug section with some nice gifs to compare to.
  20. Interesting gifs. The crosshair is covering the NIRD circle while looking up and the circle starts to blink as soon as the radar looses lock. I'm sure ED will look into these things and correct/add them somewhen in the future.
  21. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Thanks.
  22. Does anyone know what the advantage of the HACQ is compared to the LACQ? Surely there has to be at least one downside in using the LACQ over HACQ, right?
