My guess would be further LMAV and HMD bug fixes, maybe the radar elevation bug fix and some further improvements/added features for those systems.

Seriously, it‘s kinda funny. I haven’t been mad for even a secound during this early access period. Why? Because I knew exactly what I had to expect. When I read about wip stuff from ED I think to myself „neat“ but I won‘t automatically expect to see these features any time soon. I mean, what‘s the alternative here? That ED never released the Hornet in the first place and postponed the release until 2019/2020? I would have been sad if they took that approach. People just underestimate how long early access periods can take. It‘s for avant-gardists and it requires some degree of patience. But that‘s the thing in our modern times, nobody is patient anymore. However, I haven’t purchased the F-14 yet. One early access module is enough for me currently. When the F-14A and B are bug free and fully functional with all the selftests, weapon modes, systems, damage model and all its bells and whistles included I‘ll buy it in a heartbeat.

Agreed. The Hornet mini updates are awesome already and I’d bet that Wags is going to keep us updated with a little video next week.

They said the’d release the manual ahead of early access, I’m looking forward to it.

I wouldn’t expect anything apart from bug fixes. I think the next thing in a month or so will be a Wags video showcasing some features of the JHMCS before it will be pushed to open beta in 6-8 weeks.

Korrekt, im Trailer war das F-14A cockpit zu sehen. Laut Cobra ist das F-14B cockpit visuell noch nicht 100% fertig, die Veränderungen zwischen den zwei Branches wurden nocch nicht übertragen, deshalb konnten sie es noch nicht zeigen.

He’s not deciding anything for anyone but for HIMSELF where HE wants his HSI to be displayed. The TACAN carret should be displayed on any DDI if the HSI is selected. Doesn’t matter if it’s a no go, it can be selected in the real cockpit and it should display the symbology. I do wonder though, if pilots really never have their HSI displayed on one of the DDIs. I’ve heard it is personal preference and some pilots Indeed do it. It’s not like someone can berate you on what to select wherever when you’re in a single seater. Similar for CASE recoveries: Some pilots like to have the FCS displayed, some prefer the HUD to be repeated etc.

I think this has been a small bug since day one.

Could be that the way we have it in the sim is realistic and pilots in real life don’t have to adjust settings on the ground anyways because they have them loaded on those data cartridges.

The WOW silent function has been broken for quite some time now. I recall it working for one patch.

Probaby because it is a rudimentary feature for basic radar operation and enables IFF without having to go to STT, amongst other things.

Man kann später, wenn das Radar ausgereifter sein wird, auch anscheinend mit dem Sensor switch die AZ/EL Radarseite aufrufen auf dem linken DDI.

Zudem wird man in Zukunft mit dem Datalink zum Beispiel die AWACS Radarkontakte zusammen mit den befreundeten Einheiten auf der SA-Seite, dem HUD und sogar im dreidimensionalen Raum mithilfe des JHMCS zu sehen bekommen.
