They are talking about single player. You can switch the seats as soon as you want in single player. It's a good point actually: Imagine the RIO sets up his radar for a 4 bar 60deg 80 miles scan. Now, let's say I go back to the RIO position and change that to 40 miles, will the RIO stay with those settings for the rest of the flight and be blind 40+ miles out or will he change them again when the RWR picks something up, for example?

You guys would worry a lot less if you just took the 20th of March as the definite release date. This is generally the most sensible idea, when it comes to DCS dates/timeframes. March 20th is going to be a great day.

I noticed the same thing, while using the Stennis TACAN in a self made mission. Sometimes it randomly freezes, turning it off and on again fixes the issue.

Like in the A-10C, it is more like a gimmick, yes. Some people just find it easier to raise/lower their viewpoint a little bit though. Speaking of which, I looked through some files in the DCS folder and ED already has some pretty nice sound files for the seat adjustment servo/motor/whatever but in game those sounds are not enabled. I wonder why.

Or it didn‘t shut them up at all, seeing Cobra‘s response I still fully expect the end of March. I‘m not disappointed though, I have become attuned to this date as soon as I read „Winter“ for the first time. It‘s DCS, more haste, less speed.

I think he simply forgot to uncage it, later in the video it works. That's because he didn't select a suitable TACAN channel.

Ah, you mean the TCS. Yeah it looks a bit weird.

One unrealistic thing about it is that the HUD is fully functional without any INS alignment, but that's due to the fact that the INS is not simulated yet. I don't know what happens in real life if you try to take off without the FCS BIT and whether that's possible or not, maybe that is what Coco meant? FCS BIT test is unrealistic anyways at the moment, work in progress I guess.

Thanks for the checklist! hope one will be able to do the complete startup as per NATOPS too. One thing coming later in Early Access that I know of is the plethora of BIT tests the RIO has to do during every startup.
