  1. Just loaded your track, looks just like Pikeys video and corresponds with what I see on my end as well.
  2. That‘s pretty cool. I didn‘t know about half of the functions you listed. Shouldn’t be too hard to code, hopefully.
  3. That was 18 months ago. I would be very surprised if they still plan to implement this for their Forrestal carrier. Most likely they will wait for ED to make progress on the carrier simulation. It’s definitely something to look forward to for 2020.
  4. I thought I noticed it too when I was watching MagzTVs newest video.
  5. If you had trust issues, couldn‘t you disarm the ejection seat in flight? Is that even possible with the canopy closed? Is the clickspot to disarm it available for the RIO as well? So many questions and only one way to find out.
  6. That‘s not yet possible as of now, is it?
  7. No, INS is not implemented yet. You can skip the alignment and go straight to NAV or IFA.
  8. Right on, sooner or later, it does get boring - already did for me in the Hornet. But I would dearly miss it regardless, just knowing that it's all there makes me enjoy the simulation more. The flight model, however, I am surely never ever getting bored of that.
  9. Well yes, having to stay on a 11 month cruise which was set to last 6 months is what I found harsh, which is why I left out the rest of the quote.
  10. I agree but man, I love realistic startups. I'm sure Heatblur won't let us down on this. They plan to implement the OBC as well.
  11. Yeah guys I'm just gonna go ahead and say I doubt that ED cares about this topic in any way, shape or form at the moment. I really, really hope they have better things to do.
  12. No worries. I’m sure they will get it exactly right!
  13. Because they overdid it a little bit. It is still going to look weathered like the work horse it was, don't worry. Having rusty screws in a cockpit was always a no-go, no pilot would have flown with something like that, it's unrealistic, a former carrier repairman on hoggit noticed it as well. Maintanance would have replaced those screws long ago.
  14. March 19 is a Tuesday, the openbeta generally gets updated on Wednesday, doesn’t it?
  15. Great interview, I enjoyed it a lot.
  16. For instance, they modeled the screws in the virtual cockpit to look rusty. While an F-14 cockpit should absolutely look heavily weathered from daily operations at rough sea, it doesn’t necessarily have to look like it is on its last flight headed to the graveyard. I think they gathered some feedback on this from people who worked with the Tomcat back in the days and decided to dial it back a notch. It’s going to look fantastic.
  17. Also in the video he states that the Stennis is too small.
  18. Ah I see you had to replace some old screws ;)
  19. Also, the AI drives into me as soon as I start taxiing to the catapult 5/10 times. Edit: actually 10/10 times if I don’t blast out of the way of my suicidal wingman.
