This is a bug since 1.5, it makes the AI model have a solid pit and can't be removed to fit a Human one, moving the human pit up and forwards helps with aesthetic of the overlapping pits but can create an issue that now the pit is higher, the model is a feet below you, so on landing you'll be on glide slope on the hud but the model is that bit lower down so you can end up thumping into the tarmac or flight deck

Noticed this too, found that if the nose wheel is on the ground (under aircraft weight) it is fairly hard to get the rudder to correct direction, sort of like it's glued to the ground, apply a little back pressure on the stick to pick up some of the weight off the nose once you've got a bit of speed and the rudder is a lot more responsive.

Any more work gone into these mods of late, it was starting to get interesting for the A-7E

^^ It's an Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master although it's could be probably be easily weaponised and be passed off as a Yak-130 :D would love to see it make it into DCS as a module.

So far I've been using it as follows, Set waypoints in ME once setup and in the pit airbourne, select my WP on the INS/PCN, climb to altitude, turn to direction of waypoint, activate Autopilot / Altitude hold and use the Course set switch (+ -) to line up the arrow on the outer ring with the red divation arrow, AP will bank the aircraft and turn to set course and hold on the set direction until waypoint is reached, then adjust to next WP as needed, check out vid below ${1} I've been tryng to follow VOR but the thin white neelde doesn't seem to want to point to the correct VOR direction to what is on the maps of NTTR for example VOR 109.8 needle will fly you north east out from Nellis, unless I was doing something wrong

In the mean time close the game down, open the following file in notepad++ D:\DCS WORLD\Mods\aircraft\C-101\Input\C-101EB\joystick\default.lua and add the following 2x lines to the end of the axisCommands entries {combos = {{key = ''}}, action = iCommandViewVerticalAbs, name = _('Absolute Camera Vertical View')}, {combos = {{key = ''}}, action = iCommandViewHorizontalAbs, name = _('Absolute Camera Horizontal View')}, then go into game and assign the axis you want to use for each Above will be most likely get overwritten by new updates so create yourself a JSGME version that you can switch on or off as needed before & after updates also need to play about with deadzone, saturation & curves as gamepad sticks are very twitchy.

make sure both engines are spooled up, Right ALT & HOME (left engine) and Right CTRL & HOME (right engine), and your throttle slider is set to throttle and not only left throttle or right throttle

Yeah looks like a totally different model, New Pilot figure too - no mask and helmet visor up on the carrier, didn't notice the middle pic with folded wings at first glance, even the front of the pit glass looks more defined or something. the joints on the wing folds are definitely new, not on the current model, must be a new test build, looks awesome can't wait to see if it get let into the wild, now all that's needed is a proper interior pit and aerial refuel :D

yes it'll overwrite other texture mods / season, and yes they work in 1.5 but you can mix and match for example have Starways Desert 3.0 as summer, Vietnam as spring and Barthek's as winter / Fall etc.. etc..

You could try using JSGME to run a modified A-10C entry.lua pointing to a different livery folder to overwrite the default entry.lua not sure if it'll work not tried it myself but in theory it should do what you require JSGME will make it so you can switch the edited file on or off for single or multiplayer Start by getting JSGME - http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607 then when you have JSGME setup and know how to use it Make a folder structure for your A-10C will be something like- A-10C/Mods/aircraft/A-10C copy the original entry.lua from the A10 install - D:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\entry.lua paste ^^ into your created JSGME folder, open the new entry.lua in notepadd++ edit line - mount_vfs_liveries_path(current_mod_path .. "/Liveries") to point to your new liver folder say livery2 so edit line to read - mount_vfs_liveries_path(current_mod_path .. "/Livery2") In the JSGME folder create a new folder called livery2 A-10C/Mods/aircraft/A-10C/livery2 copy the livery you require into that launch JSGME and activate the mod then start DCS you should now have only that livery in selection Remember to deactivate JSGME before any updates may break your install, and when entering multiplayer servers other than your own otherwise you'll only have the missing texture livery

He doesn't need to repair he's just very far north in low textureville, as said the map has high, medium and low texture bases depending on the area of the map, highest being around LV & Groom etc lessening the quality for smaller populated areas and dropping off in quality from there getting less and less glossy as you fly futher to the edges until, you hit the edge where it becomes a textureless flat terrainless pixelated bitmap googlemap from 1982 :D As siad it would probably cause melting point on most PC if the whole map was as detailed as LV, besides the low texture areas aren't too bad once you stay high enough they are quite pleasing to the eye and sort of play a trick into making the terrain look a bit real from altitude

Activation are only lost for major hardware changes (i.e. CPU, Motherboard, Memory, Some Graphics cards), or changing to a different PC / or OS / Windows version you can install & un-install on the same PC as much as you want without losing anything

I had some fun in the F-18 around Nevada last night fit's in perfectly :D I hadthe A7 up too but forgot to record Quality is a bit crap have to redo stream settings for better results :)

You don't need 1.2 to run 1.5.1 so I shouldn't think you'll need either older versions for Nevada or 2.0 I only have 1.5.1 installed by itself they are all separate installations, the only thing you need 1.2 for is if you want to save downloading all the data, the installer will copy the needed files, if you don't have 1.2 it'll still run the installer just takes longer to download Saying that, I'll run 1.5 & Nevada together so I can swap maps until everything gets merged in 2.0

in the lua the line will have either // or -- at the start remove those to activate that command line Yeah with the agm 84 & 88, I think i may have activated weapons override to launch them not sure how though, as I don't have it bound to any controls, and I didn't press alt w, weird?? must be because it's using the Su inputs crossed with the 18A inputs files or something.

Having a blast so far great mods, For those having trouble in the 18A, make sure you are using key I and O to turn on the Mercury pod to run the TV for Mav's & Harms (Hit & Miss with the AGM 84 & 88's sometime they launch sometime not at all) one issue with the 18A is AGM-65D's won't load up if you chose from the lft alt ' arms menu, they only seem to load if you set them in ME, but once used they won't re-load if land and ask for rearming at any airfield :( Also in the control/input/name.lua file for the 18A it's named as a C so you may need to change that. weapon release is also commented out in default joystick.lua I found un-commenting it helps in getting missiles & bombs off the racks.
