flyable F-35 download link
Dingo_Bob replied to happy cavin's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
^^ usually only possible if the mod is your own work, not by someone else without their permission. Hawkeye has already put up two edited versions with weapons added in both post 6 and 20 in this thread, and they both work perfectly well with the F-15 pit you have to copy the F15.dll and Kneeboard.lua from your own F-15 install for it to work correctly, besides iirc the original version Happy Cavin had put up (the screen shot in your post) was a low quality pixelated static picture for the pit / multifunction screens it wasn't very pleasant to look at. -
try editing the common_keyboard_binding.lua here DCS World\Config\Input\Aircrafts put -- infront of this string {combos = {{key = 'R', reformers = {'LShift'}}}, down = iCommandMissionRestart, name = _('Restart Mission'), category = _('Debug')}, so --{combos = {{key = 'R', reformers = {'LShift'}}}, down = iCommandMissionRestart, name = _('Restart Mission'), category = _('Debug')}, that will cancel the Lshift R to restart, it'll probably however need re-doing after each update or create a modded GME version for the .lua and switch it off before any updates do the same to the string in default.lua here DCS World\Config\Input\Aircrafts\Default\keyboard

surprised this hasn't been stickied yet? like jsgme has been forever and maybe edit the tiltle so more folks know its a mod tool, with current & continual support ;)

Try installing with Skatezilla GUI tool https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053 DL and put the .exe anywhere you want try using the clean & repair options on your DCS install first then see attached pick for quick guide 1. point the utility to each install 2. verify the installs 3. select which install to add module to 4. re-detect installed modules 5. put check in box above key icon for the module required 6. click install module 7. optional click the key to activate (if already active in another install then not required)

Great vid Cobra, can't wait for this, the drool pool is getting excessive now :D there's already an option for that it's called "GAME MODE" :D it's a sim and should be modeled and give as close to the real experience as possible, if you can't handle it then don't use use it, the real thing / pilots didn't have a switch to a flawless option so why should we :D idon't recall any stories of pilots reporting back "sorry sir I can't fly this the HUD is too jittery my flawless switch is borked"

the screen of the sunset pit takes me straight back to the good old microprose days, looking more and more awesome

Was trying out the Viggen in 2.0 set up cold ramp start at Tonopah Test range, after clicking Fly the plane seems to spawn slight below the tarmac then pops up 5 or 6 feet and crashes back to earth sparks fly out from nose gear and a lump of fuselage is left on the tarmac, aircraft then wont start-up and GC wont repair I'll try get a video later

Tacview, the ACMI for DCS World – Official Thread
Dingo_Bob replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in DCS Modding
the replay track is saved with the server settings so if it's not allowed on the server then those settings are not allowed in the replay, i think i remember reading about a way of unpacking the replay and editing the settings and repacking it but i'm not sure (or maybe I thinking that's how to get a copy of the server mission itself) -
Tacview, the ACMI for DCS World – Official Thread
Dingo_Bob replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in DCS Modding
@LeCuvier point 3: for the MP track replay you'll need to un-pause the replay (the server was probably paused at mission start) hit Pause/Break key once the track loads the wait a few seconds until your aircraft spawns -
Tacview 1.5.4 do not record last few minutes of a playback recording
Dingo_Bob replied to Hoggorm's topic in DCS Modding
From what I can make out and I may be wrong but, you are reviewing the server track replay in DCS and then viewing the Tacview created after you complete the playback, if this is the case then you have to realize that the Track replay is saved with the Server settings so this is why you loose the 10 minutes at the end, the game ignores your 0 delay settings and reads the settings saved in the track file so from Tacviews point of view you are in an online environment even though you are not really online, again that's how I understand the way DCS saves tracks, I may be wrong someone with more knowledge might shed some more light -
Real time viewer is due with version 1.6 iirc, so yes you wil be able to fly and view / record Tacview to youtube as you play in single player, MP servers will have to allow 0 delay to view real time otherwise there'll be 10 minute delay by default to stop/prevent cheating currently ver 1.5.4 servers need to allow 0 delay so you can see your whole flight as soon as you exit the sim, otherwise you either loose 10 minutes at the end of the .acmi recording or you hang around for 10 minutes in the lobby to get the whole flight in single player you get the whole track as soon as you end either way

no mission not even sure if that type of trigger exists, just thinking out load at random :D, maybe they used a mist script of some kind
-
crew set to 8 in the c-130.lua and an ejection point trigger maybe, 7 will eject pilot will stay in similar to the lancaster bomber mod when it gets hit, all the crew except the pilot jump out

nice find, now it's either the all beers while watching, or I'm a sentimental old git, or the missus has been sneakinmg estrogen supplements into my meals but I got a bit teary at the end of that :D
-
IIRC if you use Simple Radio Standalone you can change FC3 freq's ;) so long as mission has easy comms disabled and allows SRS

Just read the main thread, It looks like you noted the suggestion about the CPU temps but both times said you've checked the case fans and they are working now and temps are still normal 80 degrees, that's very high have you actually removed the cpu heatsink and cooler and reapplied thermal paste and made sure the heatsink & cpu cooler are seated properly and making contact to cool the cpu properly. another suggestion is making sure you have system managed pagefile set on your drives, I find having it run on SSD's only eliminated any stutter i had, if i run a pagefile on my HDD i get large stutters again.

maybe a little sensitive to get into that state, also noticed that if you black out while firing guns they stay firing until you recover or run out of ammo, which i think is a pretty nice touch :D haven't experienced that in other modules so not sure if it's a just Spitfire thing or in all modules?

there's an automatic radiator on off switch under the rudder / pitch trim wheels try turning that to the on position, to activate the radiator flaps under the wings, they should open automaticaly when oil temp goes over 115C
