  1. eh... know what? Good luck trying to find the issue. I'll look to help people elsewhere.
  2. Are you guys running any injector in the background? I tried many different settings to get close to that image example but I was unable to reproduce. Tried MT and ST executables, anisotropic filtering to 16x through the control panel. DLAA OFF and MSAA on; DLSS as well. I remember having that issue in Xplane 12 with an old GPU at the time with a similar cloud rendering system. Curious about it.
  3. Rename your 'DCS' folder in 'Saved Games' to something else like 'DCS_OLD' and try to log in.
  4. Likely jamming/ECM emitters contacts somewhat far away. https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/systems/radar/air_to_air.html
  5. Given how great of an actor he is as well as in the voice department, it would be the perfect match.
  6. Currently stated at ∞ months to release.
  7. Hi Mahar17. I just tested it and I could open the bombing table and close it several times in a row with no crashes. Could you share with us the mission you played (if it is single player) and your PC specs along with how much pagefile is allocated?
  8. IDK. The sky can be cluttered with missile smoke and the performance impact is pretty much non existent, same goes for carpet bombing. Surely something can be done with fewer smoke particles than a single R-27 smoke tail. Standing besides a sam site while it launches missiles just feels like something is missing in the visual fx department. It doesn't need to be replicated at 30nm away. Just something to see within 1 or 2 nm especially within a couple 100s feet away.
  9. This is half correct. You can press TDC but after the slew, you'll be in INR mode, afaik. I'm not sure about this mode as the symbology differs from the manual and it should be only while slewing, besides I never get the cross to appear when slewing the pod. If you press again the SCS switch to the DDI direction you used to SOI the pod, you'll cycle directly into the SCENE mode where it is always ground stabilized and unlocked for slewing. TDC after only for designating the new TGT. Page 228 of the manual: "Tracking Modes The ATFLIR is in one of the following tracking modes at any time: • INR. This mode is active when the pod is being slewed. It maintains pod orientation relative to the aircraft by using inertial rate data from the aircraft." INR is relative to the aircraft stabilized by its INS. So it will naturally drift over the ground. To avoid this behavior completely on your workflow, press scs once again to the DDI position as you do to select it in order to jump to the SCENE mode. From there you can slew the ATFLIR as you wish. No TDC needed. I don't know if the behavior is a bug as the INR symbology differs from the manual. I don't get that cross at all. I don't use INR at all so, how I manage the pod is unaffected. I'd wait for someone who knows that functionality to chime in.
  10. If it is so, great news. Is there any source you can show if it doesn't bother you? Many thanks.
  11. Given how the numbers are baked in, I'd doubt it. Same as the F-14A/B by HB. Probably the most disappointing thing in the module for me, for good or worse. Its liveries are massive already. I'd appreciate dynamic bort numbers.
  12. Source? The pre-order announcement, the one made before anyone pays anything, doesn't even have a picture of the Kuznetsov. Where is the intention? Is there a source for that affirmation or...? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/newsletters/25ce7a8ee98775a8fa89a82d8f2fc2bf/
  13. You're 100% correct. I registered in my memory the Kuznetsov being free with the 33 but all was included with Supercarrier. It was a long week. My bad.
  14. Options -> Gameplay -> Allied Flight Reports. The AI does have chatter, but it is limited.......but they do have it.
  15. DLAA and DLSS looks very similar but you can easily see their difference with a simple test. Both cast ghosting. Set a tanker or fighter 5nm from you in the editor: In DLSS its shape will be warped and distorted more than in DLAA. In 1080p DLSS is horrible for target ID while DLAA seems to be very good. It can be a confusion between the two. I'll test this one and report back. Edit: I could disable DLSS in the same session without restarting DCS keeping DLAA on.
  16. Yes, but later he confirmed it will not be on the next patch. Just to keep expectations realistic as emotions are high for a Sinai patch. Edit: The timestamps doesn't refer to a numerical date so your quotation seems to be the newest one. Hard to keep up with how broken up the info is around here. I just wish it were a healthier environment for all involved. I don't know anymore about the Sinai patch. Apologies.
  17. On another comment by BIGNEWY it was confirmed it won't be on this June 26th Patch.
  18. The AI are in need of maaany other things/features as well. We all wish it too.
  19. Is there any ETA for that fix, as it is of extreme importance for the module usage? For me it was tolerable for X amount of time for the dispute resolution before the radar issue arose, but now the value of X is significant smaller. Are we talking next patch, two months from now.....or complete unknown when the radar will be back on being usable? This directly affects those who enjoy the module but are soft locked out of using it. Thanks.
  20. So, in other words, no reason to be pissed about it being available as FF still is a superior experience regardless of the mouse usage. Thanks draconus. Quick question if I'm not bothering: For those who own the FC3 planes, are the FC4 planes different to require a new purchase of them (disregard the 3 new ones)?
  21. Just don't touch the mouse. FC4 for free. I don't get why being annoyed about something that you already have being purchasable. Any clarification is appreciated.
  22. Supercarrier module was never about anything else other than the Nimitz-Class ships. Kuznetsov was a bonus with the Su-33 portion of the FC3 module. It has nothing to do with the Supercarrier module. I was stupid there. Kuznetsov and the Su-33 are free with the Supercarrier. Thanks, MAXSenna.
  23. AI getting into each other is a DCS bug. I've observed it with Mirages, Tomcats etc... for more than 1 year now. AI stuck into refueling without disconnecting (maybe endless) is also a DCS bug and a new one. I've seen it two days ago an AI Viper with that issue. I've kept watching for quite a while, maybe 2x the time it takes the viper to refuel from 2000lb to full tanks (the AI had no external tanks attached anymore) I had to do an emergency landing with 200lb of fuel on touchdown. Definitely can break missions.
  24. Both. The 'main' problem with this whole situation wasn't that modules wouldn't be progressing, it was module degradation. The pros and cons of such live service model.
  25. I cannot even express how much exciting this is. Thank you! A new cockpit alone would be amazing but new features too? I love the Huey since buying it when it released. This might the biggest bump in value a mod has done for a module. I hope ED is watching. Love for the Huey in the update department is long overdue....too long....
