  1. In this type of situation it always helps to save the track of that employment. Lotta factors affect the CCIP solution.
  2. Wrong, everyone knows it's a "Patchdate"... duh
  3. I haven't heard of "patches" in a long time... sounds like u pulled a "Jack Sparrow" :p
  4. It might be conflicting with the SEM. BTW i dont think TOF is modelled in the sim, and las but not least, Dat HOF is ridículos. The canisters will drift a lot, its best to set the HOF between 900 and 1500 ft.
  5. I keep getting CTD when I use the mod, the error window mentions "PostEffects.dll" error.
  6. I'd advice to make all turns into the good wing, but I think that is just common sense.
  7. Here's the website, keep in mind it has like a 20 day trial then u have to pay for it, totally worth it!!! http://www.voiceattack.com/ And here is Froogle's tutorial: And here's a weird thing that happened to me while trying to work with the CDU!!!!
  8. I'm posting this thread cause I finally got the F****** automatic EO power on of the maverick in the "LOC" or location mode working. It has happened to me dozens of times, where I reach a target area and forgot to power ON the mavericks. Then I realized i could have the automatic power up and tried TIME, which works awesome, so I just calculate the time so it finishes aligning just before reaching the CP (easy to do, TTG to the waypoint, bla bla, you know, math n stuff). But then! I tried the LOC mode so i selected the CP or a waypoint of choice and input the bearing and range. All those times the waypoint I selected was my destination and it never worked!!! And now, after some trial and error, I finally got it working. This image will explain it perfectly: So, remember to select a waypoint as the anchor that is behind you when you reach the desired Power ON location. This is an informative post, so save the "you should check to power up your mavs manually when doing the FENCE IN" type of comment
  9. Indeed!! it sounds crazy!!!
  10. Nice idea this! You want a good wake up sound? use the missle launch warning, there's nothing that can throw me off of a chair more than that sound, even when a friendly fires a mav and says rifle haha. Now here are my customs rings, which i ripped from youtube vids: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nn092xf0env6p1s/AACFpR1Qf9x15_l25U3Lvhkxa?dl=0 I use the maverick hit for phonecalls and the BRRT-BOOOOHRT for certain messages. Funny thing, when someone that doesn't know what the a10 is or how it sounds when firing the gau hears my ringtone they be like "dayum, is that a T-Rex farting??"
  11. sniped with the 10-digit grid, my bad :p
  12. well, the topic is kinda revolving around sending SPI's or relaying targets to other aircraft, so markpoints + tasking work better. Also i dunno if u read one of my previous comments but a 10 digit MGRS grid designates a square of 10m X 10m. and that's the amount of digits that the TAD sends/receives.
  13. Broadcasting a SPI is less accurate than sending tasking with a markpoint, cause those have altitude involved.
  14. The error described in the picture can be countered by lasing while creating the markpoint. And 10 meters of error isn't much at all. Another reason could be that the number of digits that the TGP and TAD are able to define, correct me if I'm wrong but i think a 10-digit grid would be a Target Location Error Category II (7 -15 m??).
  15. @Baltic, So you say that dropping WCMDs with wind corrections added to the LASTE the submunitions will correct for the wind drift of the submunitions? (I'm strictly asking about the CBU-105)
  16. You can adjust your "zero" position with "RShift + RCtrl + numpad keys (2, 4, 6 and 8 for x and y and * or - for z axis)". To Reset to the original i beleive it's "RCtrl + 5"
  17. the NVG mod gives me CTD everytime i enable it, therefore i have never used it. It seems that my pc isn't pushing enough juice to render this thing.
  18. I found something weird. In the options of the mig21bis tab there's "Use Custom Cockpit Livery", if this setting is off, some parts of the pit appear in english but if i check the box, it will appear in full russian. I tried max graphics but nothing changed. Are there any bugs reported on "old" graphics cards? I'm just thinking of possible reasons as to why it aint working. I can still fly the a/c, but there's that feeling of "something is not right here" that bothers me.
  19. yes, that's where i installed PeterP's neck mod, i added/removed the snapviees.lua and the server.lua, several times with no avail. The boom that sticks out of the nose of the a/c becomes visible when i zoom out in 3er person view. Do I need to have textures to max for this thing to work? Any graphical setting i need to be aware of?
  20. Que dice chabon ;) Now that you mention it, i do remember sometimes having to swap back and forth between waypoints for the course indication to kick in.
  21. 1- I have a range table, but i do see english words on the pit :joystick:: 2- Only thing that i have/had in the saved games folder is peterP's neck mod. Enabling it or removing it only changes the eye position for me. 3- i use JSGME, i just create the mod folders and add/remove to suit my needs. I made a snapshot the first time i installed it, though i dunno what it is for. 4- No mod in the mig21/entry folder, ive deleted the whole module several times so it's the original one. I've removed every file from \DCS World\Config\View\ with no luck either  :joystick:
  22. In the CDU nav page, go to attributes page, in there, depending on the STEER mode (explained on p.228 of the manual) you'll see "dial HSI course to". If the STEER mode is TO-TO, then that number is the one u need to set on the HSI to have the correct deviation on the instrument. Edit: I just realized how old this thread is LOL
  23. Thanks guys for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate the help :) I've tried removing the cockpit zip file, but with no luck. I'm sure it has something to do with the head postion/views. If you tkae alook at the pic i posted where i glance down the pit, you'll notice the kneeboard being way too close to the back of the seat. In addition the default snap views are wildly all over the place, for example, when i press numpad 0, my view snaps backwards over my right shoulder. As I said before, I experienced something similar with the huey some time ago: And the related fix: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=124663
  24. It was like that the first time I installed it, then i tried the english cockpit mod with the same result. I'll try a last resort full DCS install maybe tommorrow.
  25. I have repaired, updated, unisntalled/installed but still no luck.
