  1. Yup, SP and 2-ship coops would be awesome.
  2. I don't recall where or when, but I've heard that for CAS, mavericks are a no go. Again, that's what I've heard. Maybe nowadays the current maverick s with improved seekers are more reliable. Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  3. The way we do it in the 476th is that we place IP points in the mission editor and name them. Then each time we do a flight, we search the waypoints (ip's in the ME) by name in the cdu and create the flt plan in the pit. It takes just a couple of minutes to do it in the pit. But yes, a dtc system would be the sheezneet.
  4. When i started in DCS i used to have a saitek av8r stick, which is as basic as it gets. Eventually when i wanted to get dedicated with the a10 i had to buy something else. I buyed the x52 for 60 bucks. Best bang for buck. So id reccomend saving mobey one weekend and get something like that. Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  5. Once u take control of another vehicle (air/ground) u will make the previous vehicle AI controlled. U can send yourself the target coordinates though XD Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  6. Thanks Bunyap, acmi file sent! :)
  7. Assuming you know what "modifier" keys are I will provide an example: The hatswitch on your stick has 4 or 8 directions, set them by default as the view. Now to set the trim in the control settings use for example "Left CTRL + hatswitch left" to trim left, "Left CTRL + hatswitch right" to trim right. Same for Up and Down. Now the result of this is that if u hold down L CTRL while using the hatswitch you will trim the a/c. If u dont hold LCTRL then it will act as the view hat. You can set modifier keys to whatever u want, so u can actually use a button on your stick as a modifier. I hope i was clear and that it helps. Edit: Sniped [emoji14]
  8. You can try this too: 1- Load your a10 with mk82s on all stations. 2- get airborne. 3- in the DSMS page, selective jettison, select all the stations that are on the right side of the aircraft. 4- Jettison them. 5- watch your aircraft roll left. 6- Money. People with actual experience with combat aircraft will have a better input on the subject, hence why i just describe a procudure to experience the weight variations in the sim. Also u can buy and set up a buttkicker system and it will make your butt tickle when u pickle [emoji14] Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  9. That would be awesome indeed. Maybe mod makers could create inflatable tank models and hay covered tanks to fit the purpose. And, huge vats filled with water to fool mavericks at night [emoji14] Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  10. Click and hold the left mouse button and spin the mouse wheel (while holding the click). Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  11. This is proper awesomeness! Gonna watch it tonight. Thanks Neck! Enviado desde mi SM-G920I mediante Tapatalk
  12. A screenshot or track/video could be useful. Anyway, I will take a wild guess and say that's possible that one of your controllers has the "pause" key asignted to something. (?????)
  13. For any aerobatic maneuver in the a10 that requieres a huge pull-up or altitude gain start them at 325 knots. Yes u might need to go nose down to gain that speed but definetely do it above 300. This applies to: immelman, loop, chandelle, cuban 8, lazy 8... bla bla
  14. I would wait for the other guys to answer but what the hell [emoji14] It really depends on what u wanna drop. In the case of IAMs u need somthing to generate accurate coords, so there u could create a mk point with the seeker and then make it your spi. For LGBs u need buddy lase or a jtac. Now for dumb bombs u drop em with canopy references as well as knowing before hand the parametres of said delivery, but again, if u wanna get accurate for the base distance u can slew your mav to the tgt and create mk point. I dont think having less drag is an excuse to not carry a tgp. The only excuse would be that u wanna carry more than 2 mavs or u dont have one available or directed by flt lead (given a MP scenario).
  15. When you see this plate and it makes u wanna pickle :p
  16. Here u go, the Freddy Kruger gun run:
  17. I would suggest that once u mark targets and stuff with mk points copy them into mission waypoints and label them. Then u wont have to worry about which letter is what. This is very useful for ISR missions, not to mention battle damage assesment.
  18. Yup, as stated above, set it to whatever is more comfortable and tune the brightness down.
  19. Here's Recon's video with unguided munitions practice where he explains some references with the bolts of the canopy frame
  20. Wholee Jet!!! That was awesome!
  21. No problemo! ;)
  22. Basically once u select your reference waypoint, distance and bearing, for the EO power to turn ON you have to cross the blue line flying in the direction of the green arrow. In other words, the reference waypoint has to be set behind your aircraft for it to work.
  23. Hey Bunyap, thanks for putting this together! Here's my attemp on the A-10C: I'll have to Dropbox it cause it's saying it's too big (8.6Mb) to upload directly :music_whistling: Kimi's Run
  24. What happened in recon's vid is that the LOS gets masked by the hill just west of TGT. You should leave the steerpoint as SPI or adjust with the tgp and then put a MK point. Also, China Aft Long slaves the tgp to steerpoint (not SPI) and that prevents the tgp of going batshit.
