That dose not sound good, it might be shorting, do you notice any smell of smoke or burning electronics? What type of PSU do you have and if its still under warranty I would definitely have it replaced or pick up a new one. The PSU in many peoples systems always seem to be neglected, they get thousands of dollars worth of parts but buy a cheap PSU. As for turning off at the back, I don't think your doing any harm but I almost never do unless I need to restore my bios and I have never had a problem nor do I know anyone that has.

This dose bring up a common problem that often dose not usually get a second thought when comparing photos (I am guilty of this myself), what is really there and what the camera sees. Case in point the exhaust flames on aircraft or heat in general, most cameras can see further into the IR then the human eye can, just point your tv remote at your cell phone and you will see the IR "lights" up. I do love post like these tho keeps the devs on there game :thumbup:

I know it's probably to early to speculate but what might be the minimum VRAM recommended for this bird? I unfortunately have the infamous GTX 970 with a whopping 3.5G VRAM :(. At my screen res current DCS mods never seems to max it out yet.

Been noticing something familiar in movies and shows lately Once I noticed it I swear every time shows or movies need a "flight stick", mostly sci fi stuff they go with the thrust master a-10 stick :thumbup:. Yeah I have to rebind all my keys and axis but it's only once for each plane. You would have to do the buttons anyways to get them to your liking. As for some planes not detecting...I have never had that problem, both with USB 2 and 3.0, just go to the axis bind and move the stick and then the throttles individually in DCS and it detects it. Are you moving them individually or locked together?

Looking great Zeus & RAZBAM team! these little/mini updates with photos are great to be able to follow the development of a DCS module and see a side we rarely see. Thank you for taking the time to keep us updated so regularly.

Hopefully the remains can help identify the pilot and give him a proper burial, so there is one less family with an MIA. As for the aircraft, no info on the condition of it?, would be great if it could be restored or scavenged for some parts for another restoration.

Yeah, my PC can at times eat up my RAM like nothing, I am glad I got the 16G when I did, if you are upgrading you might as well. As for the Gfx card, it depends on what games you play and what resolution you plan on using. At 1080p my 4g vram GTX970 has no problem on DCS and most other games on High, but starts too show with higher resolutions and ultra textures.

Or if you have an Nvidia card, use GeForce Experience and turn on FPS Counter under Share>Settings>HUD Layout>FPS Counter. Be aware that once in a while it can be a bit finicky with some games and windowed/borderless. It is also great for recording with minimal performance impact.

So i tried this on my PC. What is the white diamond an indicator of? because on mine when I pull back on the stick the red diamond goes back and the white goes all the way up. Are you positive you don't have the axis reversed? because that's what it looks like on your video.

I have never had nor seen this problem. Maybe early alpha. Are you sure it's not on your end? like having other peripherals plugged in like a steering wheel. You could also re bind you axis and delete ones you don't use. It would be a real shame to give up on it, the M2000 is my favorite aircraft in DCS right now.

Wow! It is incredible how much work seems to be done between each video. I know some of the hardest parts are the things you don't see but it looks great. Thank you RAZBAM for keeping your customers in the loop. Quick question. In the earlier videos the aircraft had those green lines, what are they for? My guess was lift/vector lines for visually representation during development/testing.

If it makes you feel better I had struggled with this issues for months, specifically when at Batumi airfield and I looked right towards the mountains my FPS dropped to 35. No issue anywhere ells on the caucuses map and nothing similar on the NTTR map. It's an issue with the view distance/object draw distance that has been there for ages now with one of the updates. Even on Low it was there. I had a file link graciously sent to me by one of the forum members and it fix it right up and I still had Ultra on no problems. I cannot seem to find it anymore but ill post it if I do.
