I have started to learn the Bf-109 and had sort of a random question that's been bugging me. What the hell is that tank part of? the one between the ruder pedals. It seems to be on certain types of 109's. I looked through the manual but it's not mentioned.

One of the F-15 dose this as well, I think its the F-15E

I believe the track replay is still bugged there have been numerous problems reported. I guess we just have to wait..or use TacView highly recommended :thumbup:

This seems to be a common argument that 16G RAM will give u better performance then 8G as the recommended specifications say but personally I only saw maybe a 1-2 FPS increase going from 8G to 16G with an I5-4690k and GTX 970. I cant say the same for other setups but in my case JUST for DCS....its pointless. Now for other stuff like Blender and Photoshop....different story. Just my 2 cents. PS. What do you consider bad performance? With everything stock no OC I get 50-70 FPS on caucuses map and 45(las vegas strip)-to 70 fps on NTTR. everything max mirrors off and flat shadows on.

It's a more recent bug. The videos your seeing are probably older versions of DCS.

I'm interested in finally joining some sort of virtual squadron to expand my knowledge of this flight sim and become more involved with the community but It seems all the ones I would be interested in, the requirement is closed such as the 104th (being my fist choice) and the 355th. I am looking for an active mature squad run by experienced and friendly staff with a good Team speak server. I have had very good and very bad experiences with clans on other games in the past and I take joining a major group seriously. I have a good amount of time to dedicate to this sim and I want a group to share in my aviation passion. I would also prefer a squad that flies multiple aircraft and as I have just started with BMS 4.33, It would be nice if the quad used that sim aswell. If anyone can point me in the direction of a recommended squad and where to sign up it would be greatly appreciated.

I can personally recommend the X-55. It dose have its qwerks the worst being the lousy soldering job on the wires inside and the hand rest being to low but I do not regret buying the X-55 as I can't afford the Thurstmaster HOTAS. They also released a new driver for Windows 10 compatibility. If your using it for A-10C I also recommend Sheins X-55 profile http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=120911

Sooo... After 3 days with the ASUS mother board it turns out my I-7 CPU was toast, had it tested on another board while waiting for my new parts. The MSI Z97 GAMING 5 and I-5 4690K arrived in the mail today and I put everything together without a hitch....mostly the EVO 212 CPU cooler stuck out the side of the case so I had to use the stock fan with the I-5. Windows 10 even fired up!!! I was told by micro$oft that it would not with the new hardware. Granted it is kinda unstable with the drivers outa whack so I will go ahead and reformat my hdd just so I can have a clean start, atleaste now I can deactivate my DCS moduals without using and activation and save the rest of my saved games. Thanks everyone for the ideas with the MOBO tho. I very happy with my new parts and the Audio on this MSI board is truly something else
