Alps switch holder will include adapter for TM knobs.

I made model for Alps to TM knob adapter. It is HERE. It is very small and maybe few manual adjustments will be necesary. I also made taller version of Cougar/FLCS/F22 button. It can be found HERE.

It is designed for Alps 5way (or 9way switch). Holder has same shape as TM 4way switches. It is not finished, I just didn't have time, I'll try to finish it soon. RKJXL100401V NAVIGATION SWITCH

OK, I have a button from FLCS joystick, it looks almost identical to yours. Measurements are almost identical. I added some color and material options but unfortunately there is no option for grey color. Keep in mind that it sometimes takes up to a month to produce metal parts. Plastic parts are shipped within a week. Here is a LINK. Please post feedback and a few photos here if you decide to buy this.

I don't have Cougar,it is probably same as FLCS. Can you post a few photos and measurments?

BTW, Talon and Eagle version of F15 stick already have 16 bit shift register on original board. I am not sure if they are going to work with mmjoy2. I wrote something here and author confirmed that. http://theseger.com/projects/2014/04/converting-old-joysticks/ My post is near the end of the page.

Nice work. You said before that you'll use Milan's controller. Here I see arduino and one other board, matrix board maybe or shield. Can you say something about your controllers and software? What kind of sensors do you plan to use?

Sokol is right. PS3 thumbstick has low resolution, I am trying to amplify voltage and improve resolution. I didn't test it yet. I'll post results soon.

I added a few models to my Shapeways store. DMS Knob (castle) for Warthog, Cougar or FLCS. DMS Knob (stadium) for Warthog, Cougar or FLCS. This one is like original but rotated 45 degrees. I made new versions of 4Way switches: HERE and HERE I tested them and they work, they could be replacements for TM switches or used in other projects. I added PS3 thumb stick holder that I used in my SFS throttle. It was requested. HERE

I finished testing POV switches. 4way switches needed minor modifications but they work. 5way Apls switch holder doesn't work. I screwed up with measurements. I'l fix it as soon as I find some time. This was my idea, I wanted switches to be replacements for TM switches. I didn't have proper spring, I found one by accident. I also use old switches that I had. I tested it on my new MMjoy2 shield: I made this shield for my SFS throttle. I want to switch from button matrix to shift registers. I made it modular with Leonardo pro micro, amplifier and 8 bit shift register. This shield could be useful for somebody who is building throttle with dual grips like SFS or X55. A friend of mine asked me if I could turn this to USB: It is terrible joystick, but he was nostalgic... Sliding pots... Only good this were mechanical switches. These last forever.

Is it possible to actuate, for example, left and up simultaneously? In joysticks it is possible because there are only 4 switches in a POV switch but here we have 8+1 switches. I can add POV switches and mountings in my Shapeways store, but keep in mind that they are in BETA and I am still testing it. I just made new versions and I'll have them next week. I have 2 versions: HERE and HERE With them you also need a M2x10 screw, small spring and a knob. TM knobs will also fit on them. Knobs you can find in my store. An this is mounting for Alps 9way switch. It has 2 parts green and orange. Orange part is shaft adapter for mine or TM knobs. You can find it HERE. I have wider version HERE.

I have that switches. I'll use them to mod F15 grip. I had same idea to connect them, can you press diagonals like in POV hat? I ordered 3d printed mounting for that switch, I'll have it here next week and I'll post the results.

Nice work! What 4way switches you used? There were a lot of complaints on build quality of x55. Throttle could actually be really nice. If only Saitek used shift registers in throttle grips, there would have been a lot less wires from grips to base and lot less problems. I also use old gameport cables. Wire inside is very strong and very thin.
