  1. Hm.. I think wingman use the same lights as you. If you turn external lights off he also does respectively and vice versa. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  2. Now put yourself a helmet and add 5g :) Not exactly like trackIR wright;) Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  3. AFAIK IRL shot/hit ratio for r27 is bad anyway. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  4. When you open it, try pressing ctrl + tab. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  5. FOV has nothing to do with scale in this case. You can easily adjust the scale in project cars or flyinside without touching the fov and everything looks fine there. I also doubt it is a 3d model issue so I m pretty sure it is the IPD. AFAIK in flyinside scale adjust is done by changing the distance between the rendered images, which is related to the IPD. 7. A general scale slider is not a proper solution. It can be used for cheating and people perception may vary too much. The question is what causes the scaling issues? If it is different IPD then we should be able to select the ipd value. Or if it is wrong 3d modeling, then models should be fixed. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  8. It works fine. Try with ctrl +tab or shift+tab, it was something like that. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  9. Look outside the cockpit at a hummer truck for example, look at its door. Do you think you can fit inside? Look at the A10 wing, it should be around 7meters, does it look like it is? Compare it to your real height. Note thar if the scale depends on people IPD we all might see different scale. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

  11. Hi Cib, Numpad on the keyboard is great for that, and note that NUM5 has a litle "bump" so you can find it easily in the rift :) The only issue is I cant remove NUM5 as a recenter view button :(
  12. Well you cant climb anymore without loosing speed and at some point you will not be able to exchange speed for altitude anymore no metter how hard you are pooling ;) "if you increase your pitch you will not need to follow it up with thrust" The correct approach is to increase the thrust and then the pitch ;) It looks very easy to take F15 and start flying arround without much thinking about thrust and stick control, this is because those jets has a lot of power but you are fighting the controls without realizing it. For exmaple you pull the stick start climbing, than you realizie you lost speed, push the thurst to compensate, but then the climb angle increase etc.. there is no fine control here :) Anyway, my point is, if OP does not trim the aircraft after takeoff he will find himself fighting the stick all the time, which may let him think it is very unstable. By practicing trimming and controlling altitude by thrust and speed by pitch angle you are understanding the real behaviour of the Aircraft and with time you start doing it intuitively even in hard manuevering siuations :)
  13. It depends on the situation. If they are somewhere on the caucasus map but you have no idea where, just dont look for them :) If you have a waypoint where they should be, fly high enought so manpads cant shoot you (above 12-13000feet) and start scanning by both eyes and tgp. You cant spot them from 20miles most of the times, just go closer to spot them easier mark them with markpoing or just as spi go away for some distance turn hot and enagage. Note that A10 is a kind of Aircraft that regulary is shooted at, so be prepared to avoid IR SAMs and AAA :) If there are radar sams there, dont go, it is not an A10 job.
  14. It is a general rule. In the civil aviation you always climb/descent trimmed aircraft with the thrust. And without beeing able to control the aircraft in calm flight properly you cant do it in a high thrust/weght ration jet without fighting the controls. In a cessna if you start climbing by pooling the yoke and not by adding power you will stall very soon :)
  15. It is close to immposible to find a target in a relatively big area only by TGP. TGP is for targeting and indentifying not for searching. You have to know a general area with a size not bigger than a military base camp or such which you can spot by eyes, point tgp there and look for a specific target or having coordinates/waypoint and slew the tgp to them.

  17. Yeah it is probably not the same for everyone. Anyway it would be great to have interactive kneeboard and to be able to read pdf and to flip more pages at once. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  18. It would be a nice feature definitely :) But for me the rift's nose gap is big enough to be able to write/read something placed down on my knee without taking off the hmd. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  19. The navigation systems are not modeled in FC3 aircraft but this is why you don't have a way to know which waypoint is selected. You can keep the course by looking at the hsi needles and dme for distance, this is true for the real mig29 also, INS is not a gps and there iz no screen to show your position. The hud circle is just to help you staying head up. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  20. It is important to learn to trim the aircraft and not to fight the controls. Adjust thrust to change altitude and pitch to change speed. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk

  23. You can spot everything in vr with no problems, especially with a help of tgp or similar. The issue is to identify it. With the zoom level of tgp there is no issue at all. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
  24. It is perfectly fine.
  25. Use kneeboard builder to make a checklist show i your kneeboard. You can find those on google. Don't get scared by the systems, they are all easy to learn. The hard is to make basic flying your second nature. In time t/o landing and maneuvering will be easy as walking but it takes lota of time and practice. Also it is hard to learn how to employ in battle, tactics etc... You will see in time, you will have to learn the air defence vehicles, aurface 2 air missiles etc... I can recommend you the basic flight training qualifications campaign by maple flag. Very good for practice, you must master every mission. And after that go for the advanced flight training qualifications. Sent from my Redmi 4 using Tapatalk
