You should be able to use trim left/right while AP is engaged to move the heading indicator. This works fine in 1.5, but not in 2.0 currently.
The HSI knob has nothing at all to do with the green indicator irl.
Jep, but the knob also not working (although it's supposed to in sim) may be indicative of what the problem is...
I don't want the knob per se "fixed" to the incorrect behaviour either, I've never used it before tbh. The trimmer is so much more convenient anyways.
2.0.1 Update 1:
I can't control the green heading indicator using the trimmer when AP is engaged. This together with the not implemented "12 o'clock reset" makes the AP unusable (plane will simply fly to whatever the green indicator is set at mission start).
Once the Caucasus map is integrated into DCS 2.0 you won't need to buy anything to play it.
DCS 1.5 is basically DCS 2.0 without the multi- map support.
For now 2.0 only works with Nevada, which is paid DLC.
Well there are more parameters to consider than altitude and distance. For example what is your speed during launch? What's your target speed and aspect?
Ja wie gesagt, Razbam hat das Problem schon gelöst, in Nevada ists auch schon implementiert. Wir warten nur auf den 1.5er Patch von ED, damits im Kaukasus auch wieder passt. :)
