  1. Reaching 2.2 at 41k here too. You got a track maybe?
  2. Awesome. Been waiting for these for a long time! For 1.5. Just download them to your computer and start them via the Mission tab in the DCS main menu. I'm sure they'll be integrated into the Training tab once all of them are available.
  3. Awesome!
  4. Jep really nice pictures, but the pilots acting like horny little teenagers at the first sight of a woman kinda killed it for me. And no, I didn't expect an Oscar candidate. ;)

    DCS: F-5E!

You can even load 8xR60s. :) I wouldn't recommend it though as the MiG turns like a bus with that much drag.

    DCS: F-5E!

On the other hand when both fire at about the same time the AIM-9 is fire and forget while the R3R isn't. So the F-5 can go defensive immediatly while the MiG can't if it wants to score a hit.

    DCS: F-5E!

Not really the case in game though. R3R are very hard to avoid.
  8. The acmi export can be disabled serverside so TacView only records your own aircraft and not other clients, AI etc.
  9. Very helpful stuff, thanks! I've slaughtered AI planes for hours last evening and I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. :)
  10. One scan line is 3° so ATM we have max 12° coverage (6 up/6 down). It will be 120° (+/- 60) when antenna elevation is in. So the radar will get significantly better if you know how to use it. ^^
  11. I think he's talking about the 'cross' light (arrestor hook) which was incorrectly labeled as hyd crossfeed in chuck's first revision of the guide. It's corrected in the current one. :)

    ARMAT?

Just an example: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=157590&page=3 #26 onwards... And I'm obviously not talking about you when I mention the purist crowd. ;)

    ARMAT?

IMO it harms the module's and the developer's credibility in the long run. Look at LNS and the MiG-21. Everytime a new guy asks about realistic modules someone jumps out and mentions this, this and this wrong with the MiG. I don't think this is very good publicity and doesn't help sales to the purist crowd.
  14. It's a known and reported bug. The two lights stay lit (incorrectly) after the lights check.
  15. According to their bug tracker the issue is fixed internally and should be in the next patch. https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.com/view.php?id=39

    M2000 vs Mig-21

3 minutes... 30 sec break... 3 minutes... 30 sec break... and so on. Only works below 5000m altitude.
  17. Well thanks for sending me on a google and wikipedia hunt. ;) This distance is about 18 Megaparsecs which easily lets yout reach other galaxies. And I'm not talking about the nearest ones. ^_^ And yes I'm bored. Thank you for asking. :)
  18. Yep. You can lock and everything. I attached a simple test mission. Just switch on radar (20mi range). Ground radar test.miz
  19. Oh yes, you have to be in the air. Radar is off on the ground because it's hazardous to the ground crew. There is an override switch somewhere but I'm not sure it's implemented. Edit: hm, radar is in fact not off as I can see contacts while sitting on the ground. Just the sweep indicator isn't showing until I'm airborne. There might be a small bug hidden in there somewhere.
  20. Hm, will the f-14 be the first mech in DCS? Seems legit.
  21. Wow I just had a quick look as I don't own the module but this looks very very impressive. One of the best manuals in DCS. Other 3rd parties, take note!
  22. Guys calm down, they never said they would definitly do it that way. All they said was that they discussed it internally but nothing was set in stone. So please leave your pitchforks in the corner until the INS is actually implemented. ;)
  23. Wrong forum! Can a mod please move to bug section?
  24. Hm I asumed the strong jammer is the standard DCS one and the one we currently have in the Mirage, just without the effect on the radar. But maybe I am mistaken... You want total realism but all you write above is complete guesswork as well. We simply have no idea how this stuff works.
