    Auto Take Off

Yeah, a bug. Devs said it is fixed in the next update.
  2. I (and I think Smiley too) was more replying to the problems the OP and appearently a few others have (hypoxia and oxygen readout at 0), not the things you have discovered (which I haven't tested but seem to be reproducable). Probably the whole ECS system isn't finished yet...
  3. Yes, forward is sealed. I also get the cabin pressure warning above 38k ft (strangely with no accompanying master caution). But I can't reproduce the oxygen loss or hypoxia you guys see. And i was flying above 45k for as long as my fuel would last...
  4. A few more small things: Agressors (Gunfight) mission Nevada give you a full complement of A/A missiles. This doesn't seem fair against those poor F-5s. :) Free Flight Caucasus starts you in the air with 27% fuel. This makes it not so much a "free" flight but more of a "OMG OMG where is the next airfield?? I don't wanna die!!!11" flight. ;)
  5. Well thanks for the challenge! ;) I managed to do it a couple of times with 35% and 4 missiles, but just barely. You really have to be on the spot with the touchdown (50m down the runway and you've lost) and be very effective with the aerobraking (which isn't easy either with the nose up tendency atm). Definitely not something you want to concern yourself with after a stressful sortie. :) The best way of action is probably to just wait for the patch and divert to Krymsk in the meantime. ^^
  6. Sure. Make a backup of your lessons.lua just in case. Then use Notepad++ and add this before the "end of lessons" line: { ["file"] = "F-86F Training - Navigation.miz", ["name"] = _("F-86F Navigation"), ["description"] = _("In this lesson, we will practice Navigation in the F-86F."), },
  7. I don't know if 25% is realistic, but air show demonstrations are usually flown with very low amount of fuel (definitely not 100%) to make them more exciting. That could be a factor...
  8. That would be my guess, yes. ;) With easy comms I see the same thing as you.
  9. 180-200 seems too high though. Were you not landing at ~14° AoA or were you super heavy?
  10. Do you have Easy Comms on by any chance?

    Help

It's a bug in the current version. Look here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=162502
  12. Well if I use the Keyboard buttons instead of the axis I can't get the throttle to the AB stage either... €: sniped
  13. Just FYI there should be no such thing as an HSI course selector. The knob next to the HSI does not move the green course indicator in the real aircraft. They will be working on it but it's fine that it doesn't do anything at the moment. It was only misleading.

    IFF question

Yes you have to enable it with the IFF power switch (see pictures). For more details on the symbology (on locked targets) you might want to look at the manual pg 96/97. --
  15. It does.
  16. You also have to modify your lessons.lua in order for it to show up in the training tab. Otherwise you can always start it via "Mission" and selecting the corresponding path...
  17. Is there any chance this fix makes it to the stable release patch which is probably due shortly? Taking off and especially landing without chute is really messy right now. :) (combination of this bahaviour making aerobraking difficult and the new weaker wheel brakes)
  18. Also check if everything is alright with your throttle axis (axis tune function in the control setup).
  19. Well this would be true for every airplane with a brake chute in game...
  20. No problem on your side, the AP behaviour changed after initial release. Don't know if the standby step will come back, the whole AP system is still WIP.
  21. This must be without chute, because that one is very effective. I also noticed the very weak wheel brakes in the last iteration. You have to be extremly careful not to taxi a bit too fast or you can slam the brakes all you want and will land in the dirt anyways. Don't know if this behaviour is all correct as the brake chute is only meant for emergency situations irl afaik...
  22. click mich
  23. Das Update kam bis jetzt nur für die Open Beta Version, Stable sollte bald folgen.
  24. That doesn't work. Ground crew won't start repair as the aircraft is not damaged.
  25. I know the brake chute is still WIP but I already like it very much. Could you please make it so it gets replenished when rearming? Thx!
