  3. That would be the manual, Zeus tries to keep it as up to date as possible. It's in your DCS\mods\aircraft\m2000c\doc folder. Have fun! :)
  4. Keep in mind that the Mirage is in constant development, Razbam makes great progress every week. So a lot of things change and therefore many early user tutorials are out of date. ad 1) has been implemented after initial beta release. You should be able to flip the switch to middle position whenever you want and hear alarms from there on ad 2) functionality has been changed since initial beta release. These are now rotaries, so you can use your method (drag and drop) or simply hover over it and use your mousewheel. Take a close look at these knobs: they are actually (2x) two rotaries stacked one above the other. So be careful to really turn the one you want. ad 3) n/c, I don't use it. But you could raise your seat to better see it if you want ad 4) has been changed since initial beta release together with a lot of other HUD functionality
  5. Put the Audio Warning switch in the middle position. By default it is down (off) in cold start and up (whatever the function for that position is) in hot or air starts.

  9. So I'm assuming if a TWS locked contact leaves my designated scan zone (elevation, azimuth) I will lose lock while in STT the radar antenna will follow the lock to the gimbal limits. Correct?
  10. +1 I would gladly live with bigger replay sizes and do without the ability to jump into the cockpit if we just had a functioning replay system that works like any other game.
  11. With the long time it takes the new strategy (after the leak) might be a rather short period between announcement and beta release. Something like: "This is the Viggen we are making, and oh, you can download it next week." At least I hope so...

    Not at the moment, since the INS isn't fully implemented. You have to lock your target manually atm.

    Yes. After you have locked a target, there are two lines next to the diamond. They should stay horizontal/in line with the diamond (see pictures). The system is not too precise, you have quite a large margin of error.
  14. Nah, he assumed closing the cover would flip the switch to off automatically. That's often the case with the way these covers are built, but that doesn't work in the mirage atm.

  16. Sure it's possible. There might be a few single bindings that don't transfer over correctly (especially with beta modules), but all in all it works just fine.

  20. No need for a repair, I have the same thing. The button animation does not work while airborne. Seems like a small bug. Nevertheless the function works even if the button doesn't move.

  23. Yep looks like you got him good. :thumbup: Missile trails are not supposed to go all the way to the target, as their motor only burns for the first part of the flight. The rest of the way they fly with the gained inertia (motor off, so no smoke trails). Your victim looked like an Su-25 or maybe A-10 to me (rather straight wings), but it's kinda hard to tell on my monitor. In the future when you are in doubt simply press the Tab key to open the chat window. You should see a kill message there, something like [Player1] with [Aircraft1] killed [Player2] in [Aircraft2]. Hope that helps. Welcome to DCS. :)

  25. You should be able to use trim left/right while AP is engaged to move the heading indicator. This works fine in 1.5, but not in 2.0 currently. The HSI knob has nothing at all to do with the green indicator irl.
