The Gazelle only has SAS. And Polychop's Gazelle it can be flown without a cyclic with SAS OFF.

It's a lazy way of implementing a stiff cyclic simulation. It's all just a huge amount of lag from your joystick. Annoying.

+1 It can't be that hard for the devs to make a weekly sticky on what's going on, right? I think they're going for the Belsimtek approach: "lol what's a forum?"

The control response is actually pretty weak. What's causing it's "twitchyness" is a massive amount of lag trying to respond to new inputs. More info here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=174137 As for aimming your cannon, it's surprisingly easy. Probably because the FM is super stable.

The Gazelle uses the AFM.

Are you a pilot or a passenger? Because if you're a pilot and you don't know basic helo aerodynamics... omg.

I wouldn't fly Polychop's gazelle until they get the FM right, when ever that will be. You'll be learning some really nasty habits.

I've spent years riding in the passenger seat of a manual and when it came for me to start driving it all that experience riding along meant I knew EVERYTHING about driving a manual. oh wait no.

Not really. Your Thrustmaster Warthog is +/- 30 degrees per axis, while a real helicopter is around +/- 12 degrees (My own estimation based on various youtube videos (don't take it as a fact pls)) Yeah you get better control while extending your warthog, you just don't get realistic control deflections.
