We are going to need longer airfields! I was hoping for an airborne laser! [emoji20]

It has a crew ladder now! Are we going to get crew animations outside the aircraft!?!?

I think with a few additions to the code and some new buildings Harriers and Viggens could operate near the FEB and be very harmful to the bad guys. All the while operating off of roads! If Leatherneck produces the Viggen like many are speculating this could be a very effective team! Great potential, especial if someone produces a Baltic sea or North sea map! Very 80's cold war!

I would like to see Vietnam map some time in the future. Me being the pessimist that I am I doubt that it will me very soon if ever. As for the list of aircraft above. :geek: I'd buy them all!:joystick::pilotfly: "Historically" the only group of the time that could have matched the US of A was, you guessed it Mother Russia. So to say the list is unbalanced is.... unfair? Its what the North Vietnamese had. They fought a low, dirty, and brutal guerrilla war! How the hell else are you going to beat a world superpower? I think the campaigns should consist of the US getting hammered by SAMs and "flak you can lay down on". With the general hit and run tactics the Vietnamese used in the air. Operations like "Bolo", maybe modified slightly, should definitely be included. The problem with historically accurate campaigns in my opinion is that people could get sensitive about certain areas. That being said the list of aircraft would be awesome to have by say 2025:megalol::megalol::megalol:

F15C Suggestion- Adding Strike/Ground attack loadouts
Cool Breeze replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Wishlist
It was a bad angle.... but here you go F-15E generally has a much darker I'll call it a "Charcoal" paint scheme. Theses are the Conformal Fuel Tanks or CFTs adds much needed range for the Es strike missions. F-15C usually have a two tone light grey with a blue-grey in irregular shapes across the aircraft. -
Pilot G-limit compared to the Bf 109 and Fw 190
Cool Breeze replied to Dirkan's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
I think we are forgetting that that this is a sandbox... As far as what few when. Not a historical representation of the aircraft. I asked a question of VEAO if in the Bearcat they were adding anything additional in the way stimulating the G-suit and was told no. Without reading through the other forum, the G-limits are probably an "average" of were the "average" pilot might passout. -

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List

Lol having the Blackbirds in the game would be the only legitimate target for the MIG-25/31s! I'm really looking forward to the new modules bring additional AIs to the sim! -
I'm glad I have it pre-ordered regardless if it will have the SFM or the E/P/AFM[emoji23] on beta release! It's a beta! I can understand that maybe some aircraft left a bad taste in people's mouths about pre-ordering modules. I've only been what I would call a really active DCS player for the last four years. How long has everyone been flying SFMs in Flaming Cliffs and DCSW a decade? Probably more? How long have we been wanting more aircraft? They are finally arriving! But we are complaining because they are not going into BETA with an EFM or all of the "features" we want then to have!?!?! We could have been waiting for this for much longer! By all means wait for the modules to be fully released! Wait for a sale! For myself I'll show the Developers some much needed love for all the hours they have poured into these modules and that we will soon be enjoying! Apologies for the rant....*climbs of his high horse and unsaddles that nag for a bit!*

You could consider it much cheaper and effective against say high subsonic or supersonic fighters or ground attack aircraft. Take into consideration many much smaller South American or African countries. The A-10C would be like taking on a front line fighter! There are many cost effective COIN aircraft that operate in the thousands of dollars to operate vs. the hundreds of thousands, just an example not a statistic, for the A-10C. The Super Tucanos or the AT-6 Texan 2. It's still in the flying prototype stage, but the Textron Scorpion could certainly be a contender to much smaller air forces. In lower threat environments for smaller force countries these would look like much better options for cost and maintainability. Again off topic, sorry.

I was able to see him fly in Ft. Worth last year! Absolutely spectacular show to see live!

My opinion is that the Etendard is worse than any American aircraft in the looks department! Though the Buckeye is a bit of an ugly beast! To each his own! Lol[emoji6] I would not say no to pushing either of them across the sky! That being said, I'd agree with the A-7 coming out next. Followed by the Buckeye, then in a year or so a Harrier! For the Harrier I would like to see the A/V-8B, just because I'm a former Marine!

Nice! I like the one minute mark.... and make sure you stay dead! -
Very nice video! How did you capture the low in cockpit views?

 Oh no, please no! 100-200nm, I'll never get a whiff the target area! Ok, serious face.... Sams performing top down attacks! Not much hope of running it out of energy if it is coming back down from 60,000+ft. My current tactic of turning away from the launcher and performing horizontal and vertical jinks has been my go to for Sam avoidance. Anyone have a another set of tactics? I know those types of Sams are not in the game, but how would you defeat it?

Cool Breeze replied to MemphisBelle's topic in M-2000
Please be careful with book references. I have a book that says that the Tomcat was going to be using AMRAAMs post mid-90s. And we know that didn't happen. Not saying your reference is wrong, just that we can get bad references from even good books. You could also ask the question for any aircraft, is this going to be a "one off" test model that they used to test multiple weapons? Or a "production line" aircraft that will only get operational weapons?:dunno:
