  1. Bit of an old post, but yes. Follow this video.
  2. The AB9 has TMWH holes on the bottom, I'm using my original TMWH mounting plate with mine.
  3. There's supposed to be two, re-enable it. It works just fine with the Warthog grip.
  4. Does the grip show up in the Moza software? Are you binding to the correct device in DCS? The base shows up as two devices, only one of them will work.
  5. I'm using a 20cm Virpil extension with a TMWH grip, works great.
  6. I used a motorcycle steering damper. RC shocks are frankly a joke for this application.
  7. The fix was that it was using the Apache's sound files and if you didn't own the Apache, you didn't have any RWR sound. Whether or not the voice is correct, I'll leave to others.
  8. So FWIW, I just did a quick stress test, 2.5 minutes of full force deflection before force started to drop (according to the Moza software), it was another minute before I could actually feel a difference in the force.
  9. Just because we can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. Yes it works. There's a bug in the software at the moment where using spring force on the base itself will fight the trimmed position but it's not a big deal to turn that off, I believe that will be fixed soon.
  10. No, unfortunately. Other than a couple reports of defective units that overheated just by being plugged in, I haven't heard a single person in the Moza Discord complain of temperature problems yet from flying. I've barely felt the tiniest bit of warmth from mine so far.
  11. It's best if you fine tune a profile for each module. Basically the profile first says whether to use direct input, telemetry, or both. Then you set the basic stick forces like spring, inertia, damping, friction, motor torque, game feedback overall strength, ect. Then you can tweak things like axis travel if you wish, I set all mine to 80% max since I have an extension. Then there's the telemetry settings, for things like stall buffeting, weapon effects, ETL, VRS (working improperly at the moment), ect.
  12. I'm using a 20cm Virpil extension with mine and I don't find it to be too weak at all. I wouldn't go longer, though.
  13. 1.0.1.17 is the software version and 1.1.1.21 is the firmware version.
  14. Yes, with the caveat being if you have the spring setting turned up, it will fight itself between holding the trimmed center and trying to go back to the physical center, Moza is aware of this and it should be fixed at some point. I simply have the spring set to 0, as the direct feedback from the game provides plenty (which I've also turned down), so it works perfectly.
  15. I may be misremembering that. I do know the video quality is now really bad.
  16. Coming back to this wonderful module after a break for a couple years and I've been noticing this as well. I recall the missile used to point in the general area of the target during the terminal phase, allowing for easy MITL corrections. Now it's extremely difficult.
  17. FWIW, you're talking about Super Ultrawide (32:9), Ultrawide is 21:9.
  18. What matters is what you see on it, and at proper FOVs, you get a wider picture that's just as tall.
  19. Frankly I don't know how nobody has ever noticed this and made a bug report but it's very noticeable and driving me crazy. I believe this started when the new FM came out as I don't recall it doing this before then. What's instantly noticeable is the engine sound pitch gets lower as you fly faster. What's less noticeable is that this applies to other sounds, like guns firing. It's like a doppler effect is being applied inside the cockpit and it's quite distracting. Video showcasing the issue. The engine and small gun pod sound pitch changes are very noticeable, the 20mm cannon is less noticeable.
  20. Any TMWH extension will work with the Moza...
  21. Yeah, I've been using a floor/center mounted stick for nearly a decade, only way to roll IMO. I mounted it to my old TMWH steel plate, I cut the plate down to the width of the AB9 base. My rudder pedals are mounted to a rectangular piece of plywood on the floor, I then stacked some wood to get the correct height, screwed that into the plywood, then screwed the mounting plate into that. My setup is kind of a disaster these days. My seat is pretty old and is falling apart. I'd like to get the Simfab seat with the center cutout, so I can move the stick back 2-3 inches.
  22. So far underwhelming with the warbirds IMO. More testing and tweaking is needed. I do not have the I-16. Yeah, it has plenty of force IMO, even with a 20cm extension. More than I was expecting. I'm also worried I'm going to break the stem on my TMWH grip, the cheap pot metal is known to break.
  23. Make sure to enable FFB in the DCS settings under the "Misc" tab, never having FFB before, I didn't realize that was there.
  24. OK, I made sure to remove "open beta" from my main DCS folder name and then I manually copied the scripts from the Moza Cockpit install folder to the scripts folder (even though the Moza software was deploying these files anyways) and it seems to kinda work now. The only helo I feel anything with is the Apache, don't feel anything with the Mi8, Hind, or Huey. With the P-51 using the P-51 preset in the Moza software, I don't feel anything at all. When I change to telemetry, I feel the guns and landing gear but no aerodynamic effects at all. The A-10C and spitfire work.
