I made a mission with some Russian Tankers and Dry Cargo Ships. Decided to add some Static Ammo and Bombs etc to them. Thought it would be a good idea for a bombing target. Through everything at them but nothing exploded. Is there a way to do this or is it not possible? Cheers

Updated to latest Viacompro and stable version of DCS. Harrier in persian gulf and asked for Taxi to Runway. ATC response kept repeating in a loop. Is this DCS or do I need to do something with viacompro? Cheers

Can someone tell me if there is a link to a tutorial on viacompro and srs setup. I have checked my manual but couldn't find anything. I will check my docs just in case I missed it. Cheers

I've banged on about things like this for ages and had some pretty snide remarks in the past. ED does some amazing stuff but needs to think about these things before implementing them. I dread everytime an update occurs, wondering what mod etc will not work. This great plane is always in the wars. Come on ED, just a little thought.

Got a problem. Not updated, using Stable version. Everything was working fine until last week. When I got to mission, I go to Fly and my plane is wrapped as though wings are around me. Could it be the bin file as there seems a lot compared to all other plane mods I have. I am downloading again so hope this works. Very strange as I haven't done anything for weeks. Any suggestions would be great. Cheers Edit. Tried everything but no go. Even did a repair and downloaded the mod again. Still the same.

Do I need to tick SRS PTT Mapping to get SRS to run alongside Viacompro? I use Easy Comms On at the mo and using latest Stable version. Cheers

Don't you have to adjust the View.lua file Line Usedefaultsnapviews to False? That way you can Customise your snap views. Not sure really.

Hey harker, the thing was seeing the A4E loaded as voiceattack and viacom loaded. Never seen that before. Will do another check just in case. Cheers Update: After checking, it must have been because I added the profile to viacom.

I noticed a lot of stuff happening at startup with viacompro. One being the A4E profile. Will the A4E work with viacom at some point as nothing happens at mo? Some standard commands are not always working, and some happen before i ask them. Putting this down to updates. Cheers

Eaglewings, thanks for reply. My real problem is as I'm approaching the basket, I can never know if I am at the right distance left or right for the probe to connect and always seem to just pass the basket. This is so frustrating but I know I will get there. Cheers

This is bugging me rotten. I can fly with the tanker no problem. I contact tanker and start to move in to the basket and as soon as I get close, I go to pot. I wish there was a better way of getting in the basket as I lose sight of it. I watch videos etc and still after many attempts, I just can't do it. Landing on carriers, hover AV8 no problem. Is there anything I can use to help me. This is my last real challenge. :cry: Cheers

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but sometimes after giving my carrier fleet a waypoint and setting speed etc, i join the mission and find the ships not moving. Sometimes they are all moving and on odd occasions, just a couple move. I make sure they are all part of the fleet and check to see all have the same speed. I have also moved them thinking they might need deeper water. Did a test today and all went well. All have been made in Caucasus map as my brother hasn't got any others. Cheers

I can zoom in and out, but I am using the stable version. I might re install the OB version again and use as a tester. I think I will leave updating for a while. I wish the updates would not affect the mods. Cheers

Nealius, I have tried every camera position and all I get is the B&W Deck LSO original. I will have another look at the folders and try again. I know it's not me, so might be what you say. Update. Sorted it. I noticed another camera line and it looked like the original LSO and hadn't put the 2 dashes in. Then after that, activated the camera I wanted and it worked a treat. As it was in the readme. I don't have problems with mods as a rule. All ships, planes etc work a treat. I use jsgme. Installed it into main dcs directory and not saved games as it didn't specify that. Any pointers would be great. Does the dcs update stop the cameras or is this because of the install? One other thing, i am using stable version, could that be it? Cheers

All I get is a Black n White image, no Colour. How do I get Colour? Whatever camera I choose, I always on the deck. What do I have to set to get the cameras? Installed OK. Cheers

I have to ask if the rear seat for trainer will be fixed in multiplayer? I think it is really cool and it will help as well while giving my brother lessons ha ha

Request Repair worked this time, but no chocks. Will do a bit more work.
