Still having problems with the hookup on stennis with F18C. I'm on runway at start and it looks like it is hooking to cat but nothing. Land in sea at takeoff as not enough thrust. I will be testing it on all available carriers to check. Shame as it worked so well before. All planes up to date and will update latest stable version tomorrow. Any ideas very welcome. Cheers

Been trying to get a group of B-1B bombers together with no luck. Only inserting them one at a time. Bit of a pain or can i group them afterwards? Also, with having more than one, do you select group bombing in perform task, or is that only when you can have smaller bombers as a group? Cheers

I have to say, i don't use the hat switch on my joystick or throttle for comms. Only use the buttons. Have you tried re configuring as a test before going any further

Sorry to be a pain but just copied dcs over to my ssd and kept shortcut etc to original install just in case. Created a new shortcut for ssd version and changed the targets. I will have to check again later but didn't see a huge difference in load time. Will do a startup time check later, as after initial startup, both load as fast. Have i done this correctly? I also checked inthe registry and noticed 2 separate dcs lines. One for the original and one for ssd. Cheers

DERacing, make sure there isn't a conflict with your chosen key or joystick switch for push to talk.

A.P.hill, yes. Take your time and look at the files you want to create. You could highlight the the filename and overwrite your new file with copied filename. I haven't had time to do anything yet as very busy.

A.P.Hill, whenever i make new sounds, best to always check the file structure and also naming. Maybe an idea to open the SRS sound file in an editor like Audacity and copy and paste over the original. Save it somewhere else with same name. Backup original then copy your new file in place. Works for me but it can be trial an error. I will be trying this out in srs as not edited files in this one. If i have any luck, will let you know Cheers

Ok guys, I'm gonna install ssd initialise it etc. Then I'm gonna copy and paste dcs as said by bitmaster. By the way bitmaster, as i always login to dcs as multiplayer not single player, will copy and paste be OK? Cheers

I have just received my ssd and getting confused about all of this. Do i just copy my dcs across and have it set to offline mode? I thought you copy dcs over and change your shortcuts !! Don't want to screw up my install Is there any written instructions on this forum? Cheers

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but, I noticed that pressing 0 key removed or brought back the notification at bottom left of screen regarding Not connected to Server. Can this be re configured to another keystroke? Cheers

OK, will do Hollywood Cheers Update: When I use my 0 key command for chatter, I noticed that the srs notification was removed and vice versa. So looks like srs has a keystroke linked to the key command I have selected in viacompro.

When testing a mission with viacompro, I cannot disable the SRS message on bottom left of screen regarding not connected. Is there a key command to remove it from screen?

Not sure what SRS PTT Mapping is all about. How does the Align Push to Talk work? Just a little confused. Cheers

Do i need to restart dcs when starting a new mission with a different plane to connect srs radio? As keep getting No Radio Connected when i started a new mission. Cheers

When on a carrier, if something goes wrong and I abort takeoff I cannot get response from atc for takeoff clearance. Is there something I'm missing? Or do I only get one chance?

Noticed that the instrument lights are now Red. Is there a switch to change colour back to white? The red looks great for night flights
