I had a look at this file in the DCS Saved Games and noticed that the settings were totally different to my settings in game. If I delete the contents of FX0 and Metashaders2 folders, will this put this right or should I manually edit as well? Also, I noticed there are settings for Trees (Viewable etc). Can these be edited to give me better performance? I have my tree settings at 30%. Can this be lowered in Options.lua? Cheers

Has anyone tried to share a plane as instructor. I cant find a multiplayer command. Press F4 and in the back seat OK. At mo I have got a choice for plane. Any ideas? Cheers

I got that to work using voiceattack. I think they havent got comms implemented yet. Also, my viacompro plugin for voiceattack doesnt work.

Thanks guys. I use a mod manager also so that I can install and uninstall safely.

Hi As mods etc are now being installed to the Saved Games folder, do we still have to uninstall them when DCS updates? I uninstall anything that is in the Main DCS folder. Also, I uninstall all mods from Saved Games folder. When updated, I re install them. Just need to know if this is correct so I don't waste time. Cheers

Ben, I dont understand the steam install but if I were you, I would head over to Input and Output. At the top you will find Viacompro. There is a lot of information regarding setups and problems etc. This post here might get missed. Cheers

November, November. Iching to get at this fabulous looking plane. From what I have seen on video, boy it looks great.

I am on the cusp of getting my brother hooked but have a question about hosting. I have made a simple multiplayer mission to teach him the basics. Do I upload the mission (we will be using stable) and then join it myself as well as my brother? or do I have to host a different way? I have port forwarded just in case. Any help would be great.

Hi Hollywood, I got him to make sure it is running as admin but i will check again. I realise that some mods are not supported but I have never had a problem until now and feel it is due to their Lua file wanting to overwrite. I got rid of it and everything works fine. Just got to sort my brother out. I will hook up with him at weekend and see if downloading the files as you say has any effect. Many thanks for the reply.

I already have that and it did the trick for the cockpit but not the rear seat. I can live without that if I cannot get it to work. Cheers

Ok pony3, will do. Many Thanks. As I said in my other post, the trackir works a treat in the front cockpit. Its when i switch to the rear seat that the trackir stops working. I will do a test tomorrow but if it doesnt work, I can live without it.

Slight problem with a mod guys. I installed the MB339 mod but had no replies although the beep was there. I pasted the export.lua script into the plane export.lua file at the top but still got nothing. Has anyone tried the plane mod and got Viacom to work? Also, I am in the process of hooking my brother to this great sim. He installed the software but everytime he loada voiceattack, viacom keeps wanting to download a 2.5 plugin. I know he hasnt gone pro yet, but is that the problem? Cheers

Managed to get this to work after installing the Trackir fix. A great mod, well put together. Big thumbs up. One question, I can jump to the rear seat ok but my Trackir doesn't work which is a shame. Is there an edit I can do or is there a fix for this? Would love to use this to teach my brother and get him hooked with DCS Cheers

Noticed that this mod doesn't like other mods very much. So to get this working, do we have to disable all other mods as their lua file place havoc with other scripts? I have lines in my expot.lua, would it be better to place these at the beginning? Cheers

Do I have to start the server to allow myself and someone else to use the SRS. There will only be another friend flying with me? And if I have to start a server, do i use my IP Address? Cheers

Thanks cubanace, I remembered about the liveries over my tea Doh!! Only when I removed the mod and deleted the export.lua file that I got everything else to work. Mystified about the trackir. Everything was in place in the controls options

Hi, the plane looks great but can't get my Trackir to work, Also my viacompro\voiceattack doesn't work. Also, only one skin although i can see the liveries in the folder. Have removed it to do more checks on my other modules. Had errors on screen with loading system files but sorted that with a reinstall.
