  1. I will be adding some static templates to enhance my missions. What I need to know is, if I use them for muliplayer, does everyone else have to have these in order to see them? I understand about liveries and vehicles etc but I have a feeling about the answer. Cheers
  2. Hi Sirrah I understand if there is a sloping terrain, but i placed them next to a downloaded building. The download was perfect but the originals were not. I just wondered if there was a problem. I'm not bothered as I will find a better area to place them. It was the same elevation all round. I placed some in a village but the warehouse was half buried. Not worth sweating over. Cheers
  3. Wanted to ask this for quite some time. Whenever I place a warehouse etc, the building never sits on top of the ground but is buried halfway or even more. When I place a modded building, it sits perfectly. This happens with all maps. I realise there is the elevation but why can't they be sited anywhere. I had to abandon a mission using a valley as the objects were buried again and look silly.
  4. Renamed a waypoint in F18 but when I go to the cockpit and check my waypoints, the waypoint only has a number. Is this not implemented in the F18 yet?
  5. Im going to create a smaller mission including all the elements and see what happens. I will look at trim reset but always use half flaps. Will update at some stage and if it happens, I will upload the track as this one is way too big even after zipping. Cheers
  6. Hi sirrah, thanks for reply I was aware of that but after placing them on the ground, and saving it I reloaded and it stopped part way through. Will still try out a clean mission and see how it goes. Cheers
  7. Hi rob I don't think it's that but I'm sure I always go through all of that as nature. I will look into what you have said but I hadn't noticed it this bad before. Also, I couldn't activate Baro Hold for some reason. I have to make the track smaller as it's over 50mb.

  9. After landing with F18, we refuel for next leg of mission. Everything on the carrier goes smoothly until I am airborne. The plane will not trim and goes into a vertical climb. I have to slow down to 90knots and the nose drops. As soon as I start to speed up, the plane once again goes i to vertical climb. I have to push my joystick full forward and still it is to difficult. Not sure if I should do a repair after landing or is it the server? If we do not land on carrier, everythings OK. Strange
  10. Sirrah. they were moving (animated). Just like on the carrier. I placed them close to the planes and they were looking around etc. I'm going to have another look and see what happens on a clean mission. Cheers

  13. Tried to use the Animated Deck Crew Technicians on an airbase to add a little bit extra. Are the Crew just linked to carriers as there was no way to link them to anything. I removed them as the mission wouldn't load. Cheers
  14. Thanks for the reply Pravus. I have tried it in multiple scenarios and nothing happening, but works with others in some missions. What I have done is, have the planes Takeoff From Parking Hot, then place a vehicle near the front of the first making the Truck Hold and changed the triggers to the Truck and it works great. What I will do is try this with different planes, airfields etc and see what happens. Cheers
  15. Not sure what's wrong. I set up 4 planes to escort after landing at airfield. I added a radio button and used AI Task Push to Start. Added trigger Start to planes and set to Uncontrolled. After I land, I taxi near them then use the F10 Other to initiate Start. The planes engines start up but do not move to takeoff. I tested again by placing a plane on the airfield next to them. I used the F10 Other button and engines spooled up and after 4mins, they started to taxi. Is it to do with the time set for initial takeoff? Is there any other trigger I can use other than AI Task Push? I tried AI Active but with no luck. Any ideas appreciated
  16. Got it going, stupid mistake, forgot to press the cross to start adding. Would like to know if the waypoints are added to your last waypoint or can you select your last waypoint before transferring. Cheers

  18. Can anyone tell me if 2 people in multiplayer who already have waypoints in mission, can they enter new waypoints using TheWay. Cheers
  19. Hi Andrew I think your right about graphics card. I need to update everything sometime. It was the firefighting vehicles and ambulance. Would love VR but but prices these days, I have to wait for them to drop. Cheers
  20. What an update. Fantastic kit. Only thing I have a problem with is the Green circle. Like Malarcky, I find it too bright and I have difficulty seeing it. Apart from that, brilliant work. Cheers
  21. I have trackir 5. As soon as my viewpoint was on the vehicles, then as I moved my head, there was black streaks as if the lights were blocking the trackir lasers. I will do some more testing, unless it could be my graphics card. This is such a good mod that it really helps to add emersion to a mission. If i can get away with just a couple of vehicles, i will be happy.
  22. Have to say these mods are great. One question, not sure if anyone has experienced this, but I seem to have trouble with my trackir when I have multiple vehicles with flashing lights within close proximity of my plane. If I move my head or sometimes when I don't move, I get breakup on my screen. If I place the vehicles in different positions it seems to ease down. Probably too much light action for the trackir?.
  23. I know I'm not the only one but as I don't like using discord as it is so busy. It would be nice for the 3rd Party developers who use it to put an update on ED forum to status. I tried it a while back, and there was so much crap on there, I gave up. It might be OK for some but not for me. Never mind !!

  24. Hi Grimes I was using the Persian Gulf. This was a test mission for the Railway Assets Pack mod. The trains work OK but I wanted the train and carrages to follow more smoothly. The route was perfect and all I was doing was correcting the path. I think I will try again as it is the same if you want ships to turn in a fluid motion. I just needed to know if the trains have unlimited waypoints. Cheers
