    Had to share this. My wife presented me with a certificate in recognition of valuable donation for support of this great aircraft. So my name is now going to be added to a commemorative plaque under the bomb bay doors. Feel really chuffed about it. Glad I could help the trust.

    I was just about to start a topic on this as we fly long flights landing at different airfields and just want to refuel sometimes. Still practicing A2A. It gets a bit much having to ask to rearm with nothing. Was hoping for this to be implemented a while ago. If all fails, I might reinstall viacompro

    As I fly full modules, I haven't used FC3 in ages. If I uninstall, do I still get access to the AI versions of F15 etc or do I have to keep FC3 to use them?

    Any idea where this vehicle is stored in dcs Root? I want to have a go at creating my own liveries. Is there a template for this or do i just use what's available? Any help would be great

    Thanks guys for the info. I will use the latest Updater and see if it sees it. Failing that, I will do a manual update.

    I am using the Stable version and would like to know if the new unified version will be as a standard update or will we have to reinstall? I saw a video on youtube HIP and they said it was out. As yet , no new update has been detected by mine so I will take it that it is not finalised. Any help will be gratefully received.

    Many thanks for the link western. Downloaded now. I do hope we get some skins for the fuel trucks sometime.

    This mod is truly great. Helps to fill the airfields. I saw that crazyeddie passed fuel skins over to include in the mod. Are they already in the mod or is there a download link? If not, are there any other skins for the fuel truck? Cheers

    I am going to change some settings to my account. Can anyone tell me if I change my password, does it affect my login to dcs sim? Are they linked? Cannot remember as its been so long. Cheers

    Thanks razo+r I will have a look. I was thinking that using f18c AI would be less power hungry on my rig instead of using F18 module. If I cannot find anything, I will just use my module for AI as well.

    Is it possible to use downloaded skins for F18 module with AI F18c version? Do you rename the Textures to the same as the AI? Want bigger RAF squadrons.

    Many thanks Lucshep and Freshprince for your valued responses. It sure can be a minefield out there for a gpu that will do everything you want without overspending on something you will never use. As I said in my post, I have a problem with my eyes through illness and cannot see me going to 2k as icons etc will be much smaller than 1080p. I will also be getting a slightly bigger monitor as well in the future but my 21inch seems to suffice for the moment. I don't mind buying new but spending too much for what I will not need is overkill. You have given me some good pointers for me to ponder over and it will help me with my discission. Cheers

    Thanks for replying kksnowbear It has been a few years since I built this rig. Not sure but cpu I5 6600k, 32gig sports ram. The reason I asked was because I am not sure if dcs is more cpu or gpu intensive. So far, I have no real problems until it comes to more explosions etc. The problem is, I don't want to be buying something I might not need. If you have an endless budget, there is nothing to think about. I have a problem with my eyes and have to run it 1080p.

    Many Thanks Schlingel mit Kringel. I had thought maybe it might be something silly. Thanks for the info and image. I will just decide which is closest and go from there. Agree that ATC is in need of a revamp.

    It's been bugging me for a while as I've searched for months to try and find an answer. It only happens rarely. I request taxi to runway, and ATC ends the request with "Path 2". Anyone else heard this. Not sure what it means. Any ideas?

    I have a gtx960 4gig card in my system that runs dcs OK, but want to raise my FPS a little and iron it out to make it look better. I'm using an i5 that I haven't overclocked yet. I was wondering if a 4060 etc would help without building a new rig yet. My mobo is 3x so I realise the nvidia card with run at that setting. Not sure which way to go as I run dcs at 1080p for my eyes. Any info would be appreciated

    Comrade When I have re installed the 2.4.1 update, if there is a problem I will get the info to you. The other crazy thing was, that it was causing the same problem even if I wasn't using dcs. Thanks Update: I have installed the latest update again and so far I have had no problems. The only thing I can think of is, I might have pressed or caught a couple of keys which made my keyboard repeat every time I pressed a key. I've never experienced this before. I will look into it. Many thanks Comrade. This might help others. If you accidentally press and hold shift key, you get sticky keys etc. I went into Settings/Ease of Access/keyboard and turned off Sticky keys, Toggle keys, Filter keys and untick the boxes. Now I can't make a mistake

    Comrade What I mean is, when I pressed any letter, it continually repeated itself. If I pressed a W, line after line of W's. I fully understand the installation process. I removed all trace of original and export lua. I am going to try again. I thought there might be a problem with my keyboard but after removal and rebooting, it was fine.

    Had to go back to 2.3.0 as I couldn't stop the repeat. I haven't used any shortcut buttons to it but the repeat was messing up my pc. Also, I couldn't search a server as soon as I started to type the name, it wouldn't stop. Any ideas? Still a great bit of kit. I installed to the readme and using Stable 2.9

    Would be great to be able to climb in and out the cockpit before takeoff and after landing. I noticed the new WIP animations for the AH64D looked amazing.

    I have to apologise and thank everyone for their input. Not only has it helped me, but will help others as well. I went back and checked, and found I was using the wrong mission. I had put a wind speed in for use on carrier. I selected it by mistake. Sorry Cal, you were right. I set up the correct mission and using the controls indicator. Everything worked fine. Thanks Bignewy for checking this out and I will always produce a track if relevant.
