  1. FA-18C_hornet i believe
  2. afterburner detent maybe (finger lifts)? or the throttle axis isn't getting full travel?
  3. Daytime in-game look decent. Night effects could use some work.
  4. since its EA, the FM is constantly being adjusted based on feedback from various users and real Hornet pilots. check the change log for notes. Also, why are you deploying your speed brake that slow? Full flaps + gear down should be creating enough drag to keep you slow. Pretty much need 80%+ engine power to keep it flying.
  5. yeah, but there's an issue with the Hornet/Carrier if the carrier speed or wind over the deck is above 20kts. So until that's fixed, we need to adjust the turn onto final accordingly.
  6. it's a VFA-113 mission file with LSO comms built in.
  7. uh.....when does the OP specify night?
  8. do you have the 'finger lifts' assigned to allow you to go into AB?
  9. found this on the VFA-113 site. Doesn't mention formation lights exclusively, but you get some visual references with the in-game model. http://www.users.on.net/~jase_ash/http:/www.users.on.net/~jase_ash/city-life-photos/styled-3/
  10. you are probably either too close or too far from the runway on your downwind leg. Hornet should be about 1.2nm abeam from runway
  11. thanks BIGNEWY. I'll give it a go. I was able to work around the issue by unchecking the 'full screen' box. I had to do the same thing with rFactor 2 (borderless).
  12. update: i've run the DCS_update cleanup and repair, as well as reinstalled my GPU driver and the issue still persists. Most recent log file attached. dcs.log-20180615-225145.zip
  13. Not sure where to post this, but since the update yesterday, DCS keeps crashing on initial startup, and if it does start up, it crashes if I try to Alt-Tab. log .zip attached. dcs.log-20180614-232054.zip
  14. make sure you have the map enabled in the settings menu?
  15. make sure you are saving them in the correct location and that the folders you need to create are named properly. C:\Users\ <username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet I had to manually create the 'Liveries' and 'FA-18C_Hornet' folders and it works as intended.
  16. uh, no. You can buy most if not all of the TM rims on their own.
  17. not sure how much of a difference this makes, but the IRL video is a superhornet (Digital UFC and engine/fuel display below left MFD). But awesome work. I need to keep practicing my normal CASE I recoveries more before attempting this.
  18. I was able to set it up with my monitor angles accounted for. At least I think so..... it looked like my racing sims
  19. @Coug4r THANK YOU! that program is a godsend!
  20. Is legitimate triple screen support, as seen in racing sims like Project CARS 2, Assetto Corsa, iRacing, etc. planned to be implemented into DCS? Individual adjustments for screen size/location, pilots distance from the screen, as well as bezel size and monitor angle. Right now, in order for my rig to have a 'proper' looking wrap effect, I need to have my FOV extremely close, which is more 'realistic' but not ideal for non-VR users, and yes, I have TrackIR. I have tried editing/creating new and custom monitor configs as mentioned in various threads, but nothing seems to fix my wrapping/FOV issue. Cheers.
  21. i'm running it in '3 screens' I have trackIR so no 4th monitor at the moment (no room since my racing wheel sits right below the center screen)
  22. Stick and Throttle #72945 New York, USA
  23. I'm running nVidia surround with 3 x 27" monitors. Surround resolution is 5816 x 1080 (bezel corrected). In game, the horizon on the side monitors is slanted, and i've tried FOV adjustments and it just doesnt looks natural (like triple screen settings in Project CARS, AC, etc.) What do I need to change, and in what .lua to adjust for this? Edit: I tried adding the "viewRoll = [absolute angle in degrees]" to my triplescreen.lua but it will not populate on the list in-game. where in the .lua should it be added?
  24. thanks for the replys. been away from the forum for a few months so i was unsure.
  25. are these still for sale? site link?
