HAHAHAHAHHAHA! I give that a 16/8! (Yes, AMRAAM count. Hehe) So, uhh, those disadvantages...For once? You think we haven't had disadvantages before? Jack, I knew it! You're a comedian IRL, are't you!? Also, good on you for being loyal to great MiG of glorious excellence!

See spoiler. The Gazelle is not gunship helo like a Ka-50, Mi-24, AH-64, etc, its an anti-tank/scout helicopter - There is a huge difference in capabilities there. Though what should I expect, you are the master of trolling Blue Flag threads, after all. :notworthy: :D Where did my supersonic light attack aircraft go? Oh, that's right... Red, you guys realize that there's a thing called MiG-29S, right? That is the true counterpart to Mirage and honestly, its far superior in game. So what is the mig deal here? (hehe) Anyway, I want the MLG-421 (MiG-21), Mirage, Gazelle, and Ka-50 on both teams!! They're good for gameplay and can represent many many different platforms. @BS guys, any chance of a passworded server with the password easily available on TS?
-
And you can have a force that goes irrelevant far sooner - Maybe that's what you want short term, but its worth thinking ahead more than 10-15 years.
-
Dude! That channel is awesome! Thx for the link.
-
And you guys think this isn't pretty?
-
Yeah, the mods seem to be very helpful with that if you ask.
-
Not sure on the specifics - I kinda doubt 422nd would give those out for free! :P
-
90 min at 200 nmi, not sure if its internal A/G or external. Quicky edit, that's for an A. Also, if its internal, note that there's no mach limit...So transit to a tanker *could* be far faster than just about anything else (except a B-1! Probably...).
-
If there's one good thing that shall come out of the impending internet crapshow that is the A-10 and F-35 flyoff, its gonna be the pictures. I really want an A-10/F-35 desktop background, man!
-
So why can't we have both? I mean, look at this badassness:
-
I know, that's why there's a "hehe" and a grin!
-
F-35s need some of these! Hehe... :D Actually, now I kinda wonder if they'll have the gunpod station available to the A...
-
The difference is that an F-35 would come in with way more knots and perhaps a different strafe angle. Also, take into account that the real world doesn't have DCS AI in Zu-23s. As for the time zone stuff...Who knows, maybe F-35 will fly into a different time zone and fry like those Raptors did way back! :P

I've read similar things about the Eagle as it comes to stick vibration, though I believe its more for BFM cues and not overload...That's what the OWS whining is for!
-
Yep, roll/pitch/yaw rate, probably some other factors I'm not thinking of atm...The FCS plays a part as well I think.
-
The F-15 isn't just maneuverable, but its agile - You cannot say the same thing about Su-27 or MiG-29.
-
Source, dude? I kinda like this idea...

I voted yes... My first thought is: Why not? Its a cool bird with some (limited?) experience behind it...I'm certain a proper mission/campaign/map maker could make this 1000x better than it seems at first glance. I'd like a few other things first though...F-15E!... :D Anyway, if we're talking COIN birds, A-29! ^^Or this, this would make me very happy!
-
I have to agree with the OP, the Eagle's FM is great. Now, all of you who hate this thing's awesome performance...Wait until the Hornet and Typhoon come out. One will run rings around you for ~270 degrees, the other will go uphill and laugh at you. If you want an Eagle that's a bit more brick-ish...Look for a combat loaded F-15E - Edit: Or a three bag C, though I think we went through that already...LOL!
-
Raptor says 'hi' from your left 8 at half a mile. See ya! :megalol: IMO, WVR will happen, gun fights might even happen, but until the other guy gets his own 5th gen with comparable SA building capabilities...Head on passes ain't happening. American Gripen?
-
Neutral flaps meaning they're in the middle position? That might be a problem... ;)

Not sure I understand what you mean, but my thinking is that it would be up to the server owner to add the skin or not and maybe each skin could only be in use by one layer at a time? that way you don't see exact copies of the same aircraft. I'll try to explain a little bit better: So my first request would be a generalized mission option to enable or disable repaints overall...So you could decide if people could repaint their aircraft or not without doing number 2: An option per aircraft to have in-game repainting enabled or disabled. I think having both options would be nice and give both mission designers and players as many options as possible. Hope that helps!
-
Two things that I'd like to see with that: 1) Mission option (enable/disable in-game repaint) 2) Unit specific option and/or override (enable/disable in-game repaint for this unit/group) If something like that could be done, I'm all for it!

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
Sweep replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This poll was the top four aircraft for a few years, then they added more. I think its mainly the vocal switch clickers that don't want super-modern aircraft...? Personally, I think the Raptors systems could be done (there can't be that much to it, really...), but the flight model is a big mystery...That would take some serious work...SFMs are generally unacceptable for people here, so I feel that's the hang-up with that aircraft. I personally don't care, I just want more aircraft in the sim. :joystick: As an F-14 pilot once asked about the DCS Hornet: Will ED put it in its proper position...Behind a tanker? :megalol: I'd be fine with an FC3 style Raptor, even if it were an SFM...Hell, put the 'sack on it too and make it fair-ish. :) -
You forgot about these:
