  1. I am stuck at this mission too. I don't know why the chopper feels so unstable in it. I can't hover steady and lock any targets - Schkval just keeps drifting away. I have no problem in other missions. Is it lighting issue?
  2. Set Pixel Density = 2 in DSC Settings' VR tab
  3. Hi LeCuvier, good catch! Must be a new thing in OB compared to Stable. This is still a bug in that DCS does not warn us when the binding is already taken!
  4. LSHF-V cannot be set to anything in OB F18...
  5. The mouse cursor is not recorded in the track, but I still attached it with my log. I pushed the button with a mouse click in the end. Curiously, assigning another button (J) to this control triggers it, but what I have (LSHF-V) does not. The button is held, not pressed (see screen 2). I have this mapping in all my other modules, and it works fine with F-18 in DCS Stable, so I am not keen to re-program in TARGET. This is not a VR-only bug... sj.trk dcs.log.rar
  6. I was thinking about it, but how in the track I can show that I do actually press the bound button??
  7. Yes, I started this campaign in Stable, and most of the time was taking off in the dark. But the sun was up soonish. Ok, good to know, and thanks for the campaign!
  8. And how come in OB this is a day mission, while in Stable I launch in the dark? My OB is in English, while Stable in Russian language, if it matters...
  9. I updated my mission files, now I can't take off (at least not in Alfa Strike Mozdok).
  10. I have this bug in OB only. In the Stable it works fine. The binding is highlighted in the settings ok, but in the cockpit I must push the button with mouse.
  11. I fly both Stable and OB in VR. DDI Day setting in OB is really bright now, hard to see clearly. So I switch to Night during the day, and only switch to Day when the sun is directly behind me. Very tiresome in a fight! I much prefer Stable version for now, both for FPS and bugs like this.
  12. Love the campaign, except my wingman drives me nuts! He just flies around not doing anything. He ignores my commands to attack targets, cover me, etc. So I run out of ammo, and he has all his missiles intact AND fuel tanks still attached. Arrr!!!! Who wants to fly this campaign together (I can set up a server)?
  13. Mapped the mini-stick SCX/SCY on Warthog throttle to move and click. Well, I just touch it to activate the cursor, then move it by head. Works pretty well. But to rotate knobs must use touchpad on my diNovo Edge keyboard.
  14. Try both for a month! I loved Harrier with its AWESOME training missions. F-16C is very early in its development, I could not justify buying it yet.
  15. The problem is if they work for any game/sim, the manufacturer won't accept the return. I only fly/play DCS, so must be absolutely sure they work...
  16. No need to buy anything for a month! Just try all the modules and decide later ))
  17. Of the ones you consider, I have them all and the Ka-50 is the best to my taste. If you fly in VR you will enjoy the HMD targeting system. The learning curve is quite steep, if this is what you like too.
  18. Hello. Any update? Do they finally work with DCS?
  19. Hi. Sorry if it is a known bug or a RL feature. I did not see it mentioned anywhere. My TDC keeps jumping back to the corner when I switch from TWS to RWS, and also each time I fail to lock a bandit with TDC or he breaks the lock (ECM?). BVR fight becomes a torture, I must keep dragging the cursor back from the corner for each lock attempt... I attached a short track (8 vs 8 quick mission in VR). This is in DCS Stable. I do not have any axes mapped to move TDC, just keyboard presses programmed in TARGET. tdc.trk
  20. About the mod, I did mine a few days ago and am really happy with the result. I unlinked the throttles and filed left and then right side separately. I ran the game in active pause, regularly putting the detent back and testing until I got to 100% RPM on each engine. It took some time to get them start lifting smoothly and just at the right moment. I had to file off about 1/3 of each tooth! See attached a photo of how my detent looks now. This way I did not have to touch the curves, at least not for the Hornet.
  21. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8t6rG6qu0l/ Hi all, could anyone here comment if the gloves are worthwhile? And how long to wait for backorder?
  22. Came back here after completing Sedlo's campaign. Amazing stuff!!! Radio communications are as true to life as they can be, the missions are not too long and very well scripted. Made me laugh when the tower noticed that I broke left instead of right, and the pilot apologized! Together with the great training missions it makes the Harrier module one of the best.
