Actually, I'd like ED to revisit this. In the attached screen all my 3 wingmen are airborn. LSO grades still pop up. Is this intended?

But I already locked the bandit and want to kill him with AIM-7, for example. The stuck diamond does not let me line up for the shot. Switching to AIM-9 and searching for him again is not an acceptable work around. I hope ED will rather investigate and fix this bug! -

I tried it but did not notice any improvement. I think I am memory-speed bound (down-clocking it reduces FPS linearly). Shaders Mod, on contrary, has no effect. I decided to wait for next-gen DDR5 CPU to upgrade all at once. I am usually 45 FPS in the air with F18, but 20 on SC and in the missions with 3 wingmen/many AI. My preload radius is 70000, visibility Medium. Anything lower and I can't see ground targets. Could somebody argue if upgrading my DDR3 memory size to 32Gb will work as an interim solution to improve FPS in busy missions? I'd need to replace it all, would hate if it does not make a difference... -

You mean switching to Aim-9? Will try. But if I want to use AIM-7 or 120? I just unlock and seek again. @Harker No, the target does not spin around me as I do barrel rolls, staying at constant angle. Just the diamond no longer tracks it, giving false direction. The radar and SA pages still do, and it is possible to understand where he is (but takes more time). -

I don't use MSAA nor steamvr. I am already at the minimum. My memory usage is never over 12-13 Gb. I play DCS since 2004. Some 2-3 years ago this mod made huge difference for me in VR, but not anymore. I think the bottleneck is at Directx 11 object handling pipeline, no shaders/textures/graffic settings can help that. I think it is at worst with lots of smoke around. Edit: memory in 8v8 F18 quick mission -

Sadly, I see no FPS improvements from this mod. Only delays to re-build the shaders. I use F18 BVR 8v8 Quick Mission as a benchmark. Mod or no mod, my FPS still drops to 15 when things get heated... ((( -

Hello. In the FAQ for 'Blinking menu' I only see to check DCS install path, which I did both in the settings and in the registry. My Vaicom works fine otherwise. I always get 'Intercom' menu popping up when I'm killed in F18 8v8 BVR Quick Mission. In other missions too, now and then, also 'Intercom', which I don't even have mapped in DCS (but use in Vaicom to call ground crew). Any other solutions?

I know that, and I don't want any such mods. I'd like to have the coordinates saved natively in the game. It should not be too difficult for the devs to implement. For starters, they could just make the 9-line stay on screen until the user clicks on it to close.

Does this setting still work? For me, MP tracks are still piling up, BUT I lost the ability to correctly save SP tracks! The files are created with the names I give them, but they all are of the same length and contain the SAME track, which I think I saved just before enabling the option...

I already had custom path in settings, and now added one in registry, it did nothing. I see VAICOM finds my OB allright. I am better off having menus enabled, that way it does not pop up after calling 'inbound' to SuperCarrier. Curiously, I have Import F10 menus disabled, but they still are parsed at every launch.

Did you try deleting all files in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\metashaders2\ and ..\fxo folders? If still poor FPS, try these mods: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=270404 Edit: ah, I see you tried starting fresh Saved Games, then deleting shaders won't help ((( If you are talking about DCS Stable build, then yes, going from 2.5.5 to 2.5.6 made everyone miserable ((( Maybe the best option is to downgrade (Google Skatezilla DCS updater) until ED fixes this mess (unlikely).
