New model format (.EDM) is still in evolving development. Unknown as to when a public release will be done because it is evolving. .LOM is only for 3ds max 7/8.

Merging all those files into a single file is a bad idea. MUCH MUCH harder to export because you need to only select certain types when exporting. Buildings need to be exported in .sup or .sc Runways are exported into .rn Roads are exported into .rn2 Trees are exported as part of the .sc To export into these formats you need the public 3ds max 2008 tools. A program called Assemblescenes.exe is used to take all of these files and create a .scn file. I am testing public release of Assemblescenes.exe with Batou

Doable, yes. Playable without 64bit version, possible not. For Nevada I have about 1.1TB of data for it. Unknown as they are still being developed.

From my experience, as long as you spend those three minutes or so with no bank movement you should be fine. Whether you take the full time taxing to the runway, or takeoff faster but just keep a climb with no bank you should fine.

As far as I know, the original LOMAC has no copy protection at all...Can you screenshot the starforce error? If you are trying to install FC1, you do need to manually update the starforce drivers i believe...but you said it was the original LOMAC..

It wasnt an issue with backups, it was older plugins that didnt work. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out because I had the same problem at one point.

also check your AA settings, maybe you can turn it down one notch. and dont put your water to the highest since it is rendered under the ground.

what are you game settings at?

You must change settings by launching the singleplayer icon. All mulitplayer settings are pulled from the singleplayer side. Not sure about the FPS issue. Providing additional detail of system specs will help others.

Atleast suggest a sledge hammer before you ditch the whole plane!
