This doesn't seem to be working in 2.9

What do you define as social media? Discord use? Joining a squadron is a social activity, so having some sort of social interaction comes with the territory.

Most groups aren't going to be "exclusively" one aircraft, but rather have squadrons/pilots within that do fly a specific airplane exclusively. You didn't mention it in your post, but I assume you are looking for milsim rather than casual?

If you're a first time buyer, just go for the Ultra. There's no difference in price and the movement is useful.

Should have one of these for the HARM too

The current implementation is wrong anyway. EO and IR shouldn’t have the same level of zoom to the best of my knowledge given they’re different sensors with different capabilities. The implantation should be whatever is most correct, whether or not it adds or removes features. It’s a simulator and should reflect an accurate simulation of the capabilities.

The HTS is working fine for me. Look up what each group of radars each threat group is tied to. The more you're searching for, the longer it will take to fix. Additionally, don't fly directly at the sites, and remember that the HTS can't see behind you.

Yes, although it is not FFB. Force Feedback uses a motor to provide resistance or hold the stick in a given location. This is force sensing. Similar sounding name, but very different. It’s a significant departure from a typical center or side stick with a gimbal. Seems like you’re being deliberately obtuse about his meaning.

Range is saved, that was fixed. Never use TWS. Range is a good one, but it can also be your cursor correlation range and altitude settings and whatnot that get adjusted. Saves time on a recommit into a short skate or banzai.

From the RS website you can see the IRL limits, but it’s between 3-6mm of movement.

5950X and 4090 for CPU/GPU

Have had my Aero since early Jan 2022. Absolutely love it. I upgraded from the HP Reverb G2 (most recently), and it was a massive upgrade!

You can set up different search settings in A-A and Missile Override, so there’s reasons to use both. If multirole is a consideration then mostly Missile Override.

WinWing doesn't compare quality wise with RealSimulator. I've owned multiple RS and WW products over the last 3 years, and in terms of customer service, build quality, and software quality, RS is far ahead. The WW products are often lacking refinement or are just flat out inaccurately modeled. There are design flaws in their products that cannot be ignored for how much they cost. Sure, they are cheaper, and sure, you could get two of them. But that doesn't mean they match up.

What about the laser codes that physically cannot be changed in the air?

TOO uses the HARM as a sensor. So does HAS in the Viper. However, the Hornet picks up emitters instantly without any modeling of scan cycles. Doesn’t seem much different than how the Viper models restrictions on laser codes being programmed on the ground only (physical limitations of the weapons), Maverick bore sighting procedures, etc. that the Hornet doesn’t include.

I’m happy with my volume as is, personally. Have you tried tweaking your settings a bit more?

Yeah, I had noticed that CATA was frozen in place, but upon further testing, I am also seeing it missing in some missions on the Caucuses map.

The Collision Antenna Train Angle (CATA) cue is broken. The patch notes had mentioned that something with it had been fixed, but now CATA isn't really working at all. You can't pull it into the center of the FCR. Viper CATA.trk
