  4. I managed to model a low-poly Tornado yesteday evening (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=174526), although I'm having problems getting it to render correctly in Tacview. Any chance you could share how the mesh is rendered by Tacview Vyrtuoz? It seems like the normal recalculation in Tacview is calculating a number of faces as being in the inside of the model, making it seethrough in many of its parts. Thanks!
  5. I downloaded Blender a couple of days ago, and this afternoon and evening modeled this low-poly Tornado: the idea is to have it working in Tacview. Any feedback is appreciated! :D
  6. I used to do 3D modelling in Maya a few years ago, if you tell me a small model you're missing I can try and see if I'm still decent at it. I'm totally out of the loop though, what extension would you need? That is, unless you already have a collaborator working for you.

  9. I created a simple mission with four units with the editor, attached is the .acmi file. All are IFVs/APCs, but every one of them with the exception of the BMP have the tank model.vehicles.zip

  11. Not really. Rockets should be used as area of effect weapons, don't try and hit single targets with them. High dive angles help a lot with the dispersion though.
  12. I'm probably doing it wrong, but is there a way to update without losing all the settings each time? Also, I noticed APCs and IFVs have the Tank 3D model now, instead of the IFV one (that the BMP has for example). Tornadoes havingthe A-10 3D model is an old thing instead.

  14. COunter INsurgency. Basically low intensity fighting with a lot of soft targets, akin to the A-10Cs missions in Afghanistan for example.

What I can say is that they probably differ in regards of type of missions flown, since TEW is mostly COIN operations, while PF seems more akin to large scale engagements and CAS.

  19. Same. Even with my custom CMSP programs and TAD profiles preloaded in the cartridge, there's plenty to do during alignment, from IFFCC to DSMS to LASTE.

  21. This makes sense for event driven campaigns, but not for story driven campaigns. If you fail you should be reflying the failed mission, not the previous one, since it makes no logical sense. It's how Baltic Dragon tackled his campaigns for example. What Mike86 said is correct, the workaround is to ALT-F4 every time the mission is not a success.
  22. I believe Baltic Dragon uses this system for his campaigns.
