Can I suggest...... Hi Guys and Gals, can I suggest visiting and whatching Lukas S Wolta's DCS:VR Opimization videos. After an initial flight that was a little dissapointing, I made many of the changes recommended by Lukas and found the next flight to be much smoother. Granted, these settings are designed to help with those running DCS in VR but there are settings that I believe would help those who are still using a monitor. Worth a try at least. Salute.

+1 Well said!

I have flown flight sims since there were flight sims. ED, DCS and their third party partners have taken us to places we would otherwise still be wishing for and dreaming of! Thank you and salute!

I've been messing with ED products since Flanker and have seen an ever increasing level of sophistication and probable (I say probable because I'm not a real world pilot) fidelity in flight models and improved immersion. I do not own all the modules that have been produced as I'm not a huge fan of WWII aircraft BUT what I will say is that the F14 B is the most fun I've had since the Black shark! The Tomcat rocks!! It aint easy but man oh man it is fun to learn and hopefully one day, I hope I can say that I'm getting to know her well. I've clocked over 50 hours and feel as though we've only just been introduced! Thanks again Heatblur!! S!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FOLKS!! LOVE YOUR WORK...... SALUTE! -
IronMike, thanks for your sympathetic ear. I'm sure the community appreciates the fact that you and the team are listening to their concerns, I believe the cat to be an amazing module and my favourite so thanks for trying to make it even better! Salute!

Hey Mex are you using DCS open beta? The viper has been released in open beta only until it checks out ok for bugs that crash DCS stable.

@kaba I've just successfully finished your campaign and had a blast! Very immersive. REALLY well done. Thank you Sir! Salute!

At the real risk of being accused of fanboyism. There are so many great things we’ve got from this sim and the modules that come with it. Why the hell can’t people enjoy and celebrate what they have rather than bitch and whine about what they don’t?! ( I can hear the gas torches lighting up as I type!) We should consider ourselves beta testers by choice and prior knowledge otherwise we wait for the modules to be finished. Simple choices here guys! Pre order. fly the EA or wait. Thanks for a great sim ED! Love your work. Salute

Hi Folks. I've been flying the Tomcat (because I LOVE it!) exclusively since EA. With limited time for this sim, I've clocked up around 40hrs and lately have been spending my time in knife fights with the F5 and after the last update I have found myself in more flat spins than I have ever experienced!!! Has anyone else experienced a similar spike in departures?

Hey Nine_Line You have the patience of 100 saints!!!! To paraphrase an earlier post, GUYS stop whining and go fly! Thanks for answering the questions at hand and I will echo yet another post by reiterating that this game/simulation is by no means perfect (sometimes downright frustrating) but it's the closest most of your customers will EVER get to hurtling around in some of the most sophisticated and awesome military aircraft the world has ever seen and for that I sincerely thank You, Wags and the whole ED team!!! SALUTE!!

I Salute You Chuck! Thanks very much for all your excellent work.

There was a time, some years ago now when I flew with a well organised Squadron that had it's server in Australia. There were many members from many countries and that was a blast!! The squad was however accused of cheating by visitors when we applied some well practised strategies and of course there were always the cowboys who would lurk around air strips/ports to take out pilots as the took off and generally missile spammed. After an absence I don't really look forward to the prospect of going in blind to a server for a session of Air Quake!!! So, these days it's 100% SP.
