  1. They jumped the gun on announcing that they were doing a MiG-23. ED was unaware of this or had not yet given permission, now ED has done that (whether that was a simple question of processing the license or another party dropping it from their roadmap we do not know) and they are fully licensed (and thus permitted) by ED to make the MiG-23 :)
  2. I guess I should have tried before I asked, thanks for the answer though!
  3. What trim setting do you guys use for the aileron and rudder trim?
  4. There is no such thing as full realism on airquake or DCS in general. It does its best to come close and it does. But I agree on what has been said, pretty pointless argument. Damned if they do, damned if they don't ;)
  5. Somebody give me a scenario where this would be a huge problem. I cant see how this is going to affect servers like Blue Flag and other dynamic missions (which are already wildly unrealistic if we are going to play the realism card which people like to play). We are talking about a Harrier here, so there are still other factors contributing to the success of its mission, starting with CAP for example, which has zero to do with this problem.
  6. I love the fact that there is an 18 page long thread discussing this only 2 threads below this one. There is non yet and people cant seem to make up their mind on what it should look like. Time will tell.

    WHEN?!

Ofcourse, just when Im on holiday they release this! Damn you ED!! :D
  8. I'll tell you what, HB are awesome at everything, except delivering on time, but its usually worth it! Probs a short early access time if none at all.
  9. Developement is not going to be slower now that they are creating a lot of similar technologies for the Hornet that it shares with the Viper, plus they expanded pretty hardcore with BST joining forces. Im going to be optimistic for once and call that atleast three quarter of the modules mentioned will be in some form of public release (EA or Released) within five years.
  10. Its up to Heatblur to provide ED with a changelog, it might be added later today, its not something that has not happend before.
  11. I can only imagine how annoying that must be for the developers. They said they will do it, so they will. I don't understand why people need confirmation they are still working on it every other week. Just have a little faith and patience for a few years, it helps
  12. Either I have been living under a rock or you are wrong, never saw that in the way you are describing it. Or I just dont remember because I drink too much alcohol :D
  13. Oh god no. Its ugly and next to useless. Its from an era where they threw 100 planes at a target and hoped 1 would actually hit it.
  14. The only problem I am seeing here is your own mindset. Just dont buy from them if you dont like them. And dont come running back when they finish their modules this year! The Mig is going to be awesome and will be finished, as will their other products.
  15. Probably not today guys. And I think its unfair to complain about the Hornet being unusable, because you all know its EA and you know what that means, don't you?
  16. Oh my gosh guys, this is beyond awesome. Thanks for the great work! This is going to be my absolute favorite!
  17. The map is the Falklands, but technically it is UK, because you know.. colonization for the Queen!
  18. Epic fail :megalol::megalol:

    F-15E?

So you take an A/A fighter airframe and decided to make it into a A/G variant. You add pylons, change some avionics and there probably a whole lot more that I dont know about. Do you expect that to handle the same in the A/A role when obviously it was designed for the A/G role, hence the STRIKE Eagle? I think not.

    APKWS II

It could but it will not be. License issues. Case closed on that one.
  21. To be safe I would do as Art-J described above. For the new DRM modules it does not matter what you do, they are tied to your account. So if you install DCS and log in it should automatically recognize that you have those modules and you can download them without reactivating them. Again, to be safe, I would make sure that I uninstalled everything on my previous PC and that I logged out on the DCS client.
  22. Shame the RSBN does not kill Cats :D
  23. If you buy, make sure you know what Early Access means. You would not be the first to be dissappointed by the amount of features available at the moment and the development speed of new features. Just saying.
  24. Its only available on OB if my intel is correct ;)
