When they announced the Hind and Phantom they also said they were going to improve on communications. They kept this up right until they merged with ED. Radio silence since that moment. I'm assuming ED put BST's in-progress modules at the back of the line and pulled all of the BST team on their own modules to finish those first, maybe with a few exceptions. Just assuming here.

You guys do realize there is about 3 people that are loudly complaining about slow progress in this thread? There are some that only say 'dissappointed' or 'slow progress' but there is literally only about 3 people constantly reacting and telling people they dont get it. Talking about noisy minorities.

No, just no. There is nobody more excited for the Hind then Razorback. Trust me, we all know him around here. The guy lives Hind, breathes Hind and has Hind for breakfast.

While I understand the desire of people to get half the campaign early, I believe it gives more trouble then you gain from it. Not only by reasons mentioned above about it being a training campaign etc. but also with payment, having additional pressure to finish the other half. I just cant see the benefits from this and its only the impatience of people that you are hearing here.

Yes, they stated somewhere it is going to be feature complete at release; no EA. That doesnt mean they wont add anything, make changes or fix bugs. Not sure where the source is, might be somewhere on FB.

That is not Skate's point. You are assuming that because it has happened every time thus far, but that is by no means a guarantee for the future. Looking at it this way avoids dissappointments and can only bring good things :)

That 3D model is not looking to great if you ask me. But everybody has to start somewhere I guess.

By the way, the fact that the MiG-19 got its own subforum now probably counts for something

That would probably be figure of speech. Fair enough, most people probably realize that. Sadly its the nature of the beast that is called Flight Simming.

Just because people feel its worth more does not mean they do not symphatise with people that have a SS cheque or are not able to afford it, they just want the best for the developer so that in a few years time (or hopefully shorter with the amount of profit they made with their previous module) there will be another module.

Oh great another rant about Early Access and somebody who does not understand it. Don't get me wrong the only thing I want for DCS is to see it grow but if this is one of the side effects I'm starting to get second doubts.

I find these arguments that DCS is getting too expensive pretty invalid. Most civilian simulators price the same for their big ticket modules, if not more. And they are one trick ponies, get you from point A to point B. DCS is pricing its big ticket modules at less or the same (if you take into account pre-purchase discount) and they do multiple things (multiple weapons, sensors etc.). If you ask me, cash for value is much greater on the DCS modules then any other. But then again, if you dont have too much to spare I guess you chose the wrong hobby.

Gosh this keybind thing seems to send people on a massive rage. Its the nature of the beast called DCS Beta, and I think its not that bad honestly. But then again, my controls have been absolutely fine so I might be biased :D

The day that I see legitimate criticism that invole correct arguments without emotions and/or opinions based on their current feelings rather then facts is yet to come when it comes to new modules/release dates.

Sounds like a coutry-related issue to me. What country are you from if you do not mind me asking? It might be blocked there for whatever reason.
