First of all, the options that are grayed out are only available for change out of game, so in the main menu. That means that if you want to change that Russian into something else, you need to go to the main menu and click the gear icon on the top. Secondly, the tower is in Russian because you are in a Russian Airforce aircraft on the Russian side of the map. As of yet there is no way to change that language without some advanced knowledge of the ME (e.g. open the missions from the campaign individually in the Mission Editor and change the coalition/country to NATO). The back seater is supposed to be in English as is the briefing. In my experience, the (Russian) ATC is not needed for this campaign. Sure, it adds a little immersion, but you will be totally fine when you do not use it. You will not fail any mission etc. You can even check your kneeboard and see which runway is in use and what way you are supposed to taxi etc. Hope this helped you out a bit!

Please ellaborate? I have both my L-39 and the campaign fully in English.. Not sure whats going on.

Inactive just means you are not currently playing it. Just click on the Kursant Campaign, and then the green button to the bottom right, it will load and you should be good to go! And as explained earlier, the serial numbers are gone when it comes to newer modules. They are now electronically connected to your account.

These are the times where 'Here is my statement, here is my proof, this is the truth and nobody can change that whatsoever' is the way to go I guess..

Would like this aswell, but apart from that, great campaign so far, played through the first few missions and I love it!

The Container pretty much refers to Groom Lake AFB and its surroundings. See this little map, where it says 51.

If you have Easy Comms disabled, make sure you use the correct radio. Each radio has its own mic button. You can check if you pull up the Communication Menu in the top right corner. If it says Intercom your voice is going through the intercom and when you are in the air.. Well.. Just make sure it says the correct radio on the top right.

34.2 Gb on my end  -
Follow up pics with chicks in tow.

Im clearing some room for the upcoming Persian Gulf and F/A-18C and noticed some backup folders in my DCS folder. I know I did not create these manually (or I must have a real bad memory) and one of them contains the Nevada terrain, which is 13gb. I wondered if these folders are necessary for the sim to run? I am on the Open Beta branch by the way. Thanks in advance for your insights!

Nope, Heatblur is working individually on a Forrestal Class-carrier, whilest ED's module is going to be the John C. Stennis if im not mistaken (Nimitz Class, Theodore Roosevelt subclass)

Hi This link is from Chucks Guide. Its a guide on how the Sabre should be flown, but its also applicable to Mig-15 pilots, as it might give you an insight on what to expect. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3T1RudnlMWGZ6OVE/view And in case you want some more basic information, try Chuck's Guide for the Mig-15. He does them for all aircraft (except FC3) and they are great! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3RThWVG8yaUJacnc/view

Even though I am curious as well, I do not believe this is how it works. I've never seen a dev respond with actual news when somebody asked for it. They will share news if there is any 'big' news.. Patience is key my friend

I find it rude to ask for an update

They are fully focused on the Hornet. BST has never communicated more then they did this year. All their other modules were announced close to EA or Beta release how we used to call it. So I suggest you lower your demanding voice a bit and have some patience. There will be news where there is news.

No, only running as admin will not work. You will have to move your game from C:\Program Files (x86) to C:\Program Files and you are good to go. It takes one second because you are not actually moving files on your disk as you would when you move them to a different drive. You lose nothing, so you keep all your settings and controls.
-
Also confirmed on this side, moving from x86 to 'regular' Program Files worked. Thanks everybody, BIGNEWY, and the ED team for the quick help and workaround!

My comment was not aimed towards you, I know you wouldnt do such thing. Its more that people immediately start guessing and getting hyped whilest there may be nothing or something relatively small.
