  1. We are currently disscusing these matters. We will let everybody know when we agree on the implementation.
  2. The MiG-23 will be modeled to be realistic and to the max of its capabilities and this includes a properly made datalink system.
  3. Currently most of the coding power is focused on the Mirage and Harrier, Mig-19 updates are advancing slowly but most of the few missing things will be enabled as soon as coders have more time to get into it.
  4. That one is planned for MiG-19P pilots.
  5. mmm... a man of culture :D
  6. Hello halowraith1, What do you feel is still lacking in the cockpit? Could you expand on this? Thanks
  7. Wiki is wrong. Soviet fighters were able to conduct cooperative search way before the MLA was in service. In any case I will ask if there is a way to implement this in DCS.
  8. Most of the damage model features are working fine in the current version of the aircraft (while still a few remain to be enabled). What elements are you referring to?
  9. Right now, the transonic readings of barometric instruments has a bug were the effects last for longer than they should, this should be corrected soon. The main OB changelog thread for the MiG-19P has been updated to show the additions that were missing.

  11. Preliminary changelog for the MiG-19 DCS MIG-19P by RAZBAM: - Corrected G-suit parameter - Corrected AI FM min and max g limit - Corrected AI FM max range - Updated AI FM aerodynamic tables - Updated AI FM engine tables - Corrected damage shape name to actual file name and added wing damage shape - Corrected various engine related damage responses - Corrected various flight control related damage responses - Throttle logic corrected to design basic aircraft - Wheel braking effectiveness reduced to closer match data - UV Lights enabled - Instruments backlight enabled - Flood lights updated - All sights updated. - ASP-5N Sight depression control updated. Depression values now affects all sights modes even when caged - Cockpit knobs and dials will no longer spin forever - Model altitude indicator and variometer behavior in transonic - Stores failure, structural limits implemented in pitch and roll - Corrected timing for fuel starvation when inverted - Added engine failure when below military power and at very high altitude - Engine off induced drag behavior - New additions and fixes to the Flight Manual - “Crime and punishment” - 10 mission campaign by Baltic Dragon
  12. If there are no limitations by the current/future game system/engine it will be developed.
  13. This a know problem and we are aware, will be fixed in the next update. Thanks TLTeo
  14. Extra AI aircraft from the 1955-1965 era are planed to come with the MiG-19S flyable aircraft.
  15. There´re few tutorial videos in Russian. We are also looking for a Russian translator for the flight manual.
  16. The MiG-19 spins and stall behavior is totally dynamic. The new tool we have developed to make the FMs is helping a lot with this.

  18. Hello sniperpr1, the AGI-1 artificial horizon used in the MiG-19 was featured only in a few Soviet aircraft of that time, when they changed to the more modern AGD type. The AGI-1 is inverted in the way that the sky is below and the ground is above. In this type of instrument, only the ball moves in pitch and rolls, the aircraft symbol is static.
  19. The radar in the MiG-19P is fixed in elevation and azimuth and can´t be controlled. The low altitude mode all it does is turn OFF the search antenna and reduce the lock antenna range to 1.200 meters.
  20. A few objects were added to the cockpit 3d model.
  21. New textures have been uploaded for the new cockpit model changes in the last update. The "fresh cockpit" will also get this update soon.
  22. Hard facts and data (charts and tables) have been provided in this very forum about the state of the MiG-19P flight model now and the coming updates: Repeating "I feel this is wrong" again and again is not useful, because flight models are not made with feelings.;) Most important, this a MiG-19P related sub-forum. Any issue you have with the M2000 or Harrier FMs please post in their corresponding sub-forums. Regarding the MiG-19 flight model, if you have any doubt regarding the different flight parameters and behavior you are welcome to post a performance chart of any of the parameters of the real aircraft and the actual recorded behavior of the simulated aircraft to compare next to it. Any proven wrong behavior will be recognized and fixed.
