hi, I placed a stinger Infantry and SA-13 Strela-10M3 i think joined with a friend of mine we both locked on targets. i could here his lock tone and he mine... as soon as this happens, lock tone freezes and the only thing to get rid of it is by leaving and restarting the server.

Hello, first I want to thank RAZBAM for giving me the Harrier experience! while training with unguided Bombs I found the DMS Bomb release mode. I always used Auto or CCIP for my drops and they were almost spot on. if not it was my fault. I googled DSL bomb release and read through Chuck's guide, but I was not able to find a single piece of information for this mode. I decided to just try it. I slewed my DMS TV camera on target, switched to DMS Mode, put the fancy looking CCIP cue on target and pickle. the bomb hit about 500ft short! i tried 12 times (different attack angles and speed), all bombs went short Anyone who can enlighten me about this mode? I clearly do something wrong:D Thank you very much

f18 AP doesn't care about your current pitch (otherwise ATTHOLD wouldn't work), it cares about the input you give. if he is not able to activate it I can think of 3 problems already mentioned here. 1. no dead zones on input devices 2 AP disengage button somehow activated. 3. Jitter in any Axis that surpasses the dead zone. (rudder perhaps?) (4.INS not NAV)? Also i can activate BALT with 3-4° Up and he still pulls me down. maybe even more than that my deadzone's on all axis are at least 5

yes i use it also as the Zoom axis on all planes. just be aware when you have some jitter in the axis you need to adjust your TW background lighting to either full power or nothing. all settings in between cause some jitter in that axis on my TM.

but if its a bug, you can send your data directly to ED no?

funny 2 years ago people wrote same threads about the mirage, and went back to their lovely A10.:D i think in a year or so we would be feature complete, and ironing out the last few bugs. in 2 years we don't like the progression of the F16 and then go back to our lovely f18 xD

kannst du nicht die SAM und die f18 aus der selben nation nehmen, und das Ziel von einer gegnerischen nation? dan sollte die sam doch auf das richtige ziel schiessen. dem trigger ist ja wurscht ob blau oder rot sofern richtig ausgewählt

Im not 100% sure what the right procedur is, but i only use 2°ND for vertical takeoff not STO Edit: manual said even for conventional takeoff its 2°ND... its basically takeoff trim for all situation's but i never go full 2° most of the time its less for me

this is ok, just dont forget when gear and flaps are down it goes into Approach mode: 2.1.2.1 ATC Approach Mode. The ATC approach mode is engaged by pressing and releasing the ATC button on the left throttle with the FLAP switch in HALF or FULL and the trailing edge flaps extended at least 27°. When ATC is engaged in the approach mode, the flight control computer modulates engine thrust to maintain on-speed AOA. The computer uses inputs of AOA, normal load factor, stabilator position, pitch rate, and angle of bank to generate command signals. These signals drive the engine mounted throttle control units which in turn command the engine fuel controls. The computer uses AOA as the primary input to generate command signals. However, normal load factor provides increased stability, stabilator position provides increased or decreased thrust for pilot induced pitch changes, pitch rate provides lead during pitch maneuvers, and bank angle provides additional thrust during banking maneuvers. Normal disengagement is accomplished by pressing the ATC button or applying and holding force to either throttle cruise mode: 2.1.2.2 ATC Cruise Mode. The ATC cruise mode is engaged by pressing and releasing the ATC button on the left throttle with the FLAP switch in AUTO. When ATC is engaged in the cruise mode, the existing airspeed is used by the flight control computer to modulate engine thrust to maintain this existing airspeed. The existing airspeed is the airspeed being sent from the ADC to the flight control computers via the mission computers. An ADC failure inhibits the ATC cruise mode of operation. The FCC uses true airspeed from ADC via the mission computers at the time of engagement to generate a command signal. This signal is then used as a reference to generate an error signal that drives the engine mounted throttle control units. you can hide the stick by clicking on its base.

just a tip for the Hornet, if you struggling to keep the right speed, just use one engine for finetuning, the flybywire will cancel any attitude changes, and you basically have double the precision for the speed. just keep the offset as small as possible

do you change the sensors to IRMAV when you try to lock target? i put my TV over target Uncage the IRMAV change the sensors to IRMAV (sensor switch FWD i think) Lock Rifle!
