Hi If i speak about this little issue, it's because I think that ED can be influent with the develloper of this little application: Oculus tray Tool If we use DCS and DCS bêta, we can't have two profiles for each DCS.exe in OTT. In the previous version of OTT it was possible but not with the 0.85.4 If you know a way to have the 2 profiles.....

You mean that I shouldn't replace the files with civil ground crew addition to have the "gilets jaunes", because I've searched but I dont find them. As I see, this protest movement in my country is known all around the world.

I havn't seen this post absolutly amazing, I have downloaded all but I can't find the civilian with Yellow vest ( as in France's streets all saturdays) I have downloaded the 2 files civilian ground crew and installed them with overwrite of the files but I don't see them in the ME. Where are they ?

Forget, it is n't only a VR issue I've seen a track without VR and depending of the position in external view, I have half screen in black.

Ok for uncaging just before take-off. But do you think that uncaging before moving can damage the artificial horizon ? And that's why after, it loose its good behaviour during flight ?

It's a question that I have, since I've bought P-51, years ago: The succion is OK and despite that, the horizon loose its good position very often. Just when I'm taxying in exemple, even if I've uncaged it before moving, the instrument loose the horizon with the first turn. And in flight it's the same: Very often I must stabilize my flight Vz=0 and with my sight i must cage/uncage again to have an approximate horizon ( more difficult in a mountain zone with the false appreciation of the horizon by the human sight )

Where is the handbrake in the front cockpit ( I don't speak about the little lever on the stick to use wheels brake by hand but the system to switch brakes in a permanent locked mode, to do engine tries at the waiting point in exemple, without pressing brakes permanently with feet) ?

Its like that for me since I have an Oculus. But don't be focalized on FPS. With 30fps ( all options on the max except the shadows on flat) the flights are fluid and I take pleasure to use DCS. On wide blue sky, when looking only the sky, my fps are going to 45 but never more. I have disabled ASW for DCS because I prefer to keep around 30 fps and good graphics than around 90 with ghost objects. If you live for fps, you will pass your time to ty to improve fps and missing pleasure moments. The judge must not be the fps number that you can read but your eyes and your feeling. However, when looking to the sides, you can see a drop of fps if your speed is high. It's caused by the V-synch limits of the VR device.

Hi I've noticed that on some textures very reflective as, in exemple, some of the Yak-52 skins and according to the sun position and the player position, the furtive black eyes continue as it was the case on water set in high quality just after the release of 2.5.4. So the issue has been subdued by ED until the first versions of 2.5.4, but the issue is still here.

Hi Playing a mission I've done a long long time ago and beginning with an AI on final approach, I've noticed that the frequency of the airport for starting engine, was unavailable. Despite that, I started my L-39 and began to move on the taxiway. Some days ago, doing that triggered an interrupted approach for the AI on final approach but surely due to the fact that the frequency of the airport wasn't proposed in ATC choice, the AI landed normally, as I was near the waiting point:Still unthinkable, some days ago ! Is it a first step to the return back of a good behavoiur of AI planes on approach as it was the case more than 2 years ago ? If yes, it's a progress but not the ultimate fix for now. An AI on final approach shouldn't be disturbed by an other plane ( AI or player) moving on the taxiway, even if this one, have asked a clearance to start engine and move towards the runway.

It seems that I have an issue Whatever my choice, default or Casper, I only see the Casper but without airbrake light.

I verified again, with the default cockpit and with the Casper_HD cockpit: The rectangle become a little darker but no light. I've tried in VR mode and without. It's the same I've made a repair, the issue is still here.

DCS World 2.5.x Caucasus Terrain Textures

Hi Mustang Thanks for this amazing new mod. I've tried tp edit the terrain.cfg.lua file just to see. I've tried with Swiss Lipo's values and no more mission in Caucasus is launching. I return back to default values and all is ok again. My missions I've done are including an heavy number of objects. Is it linked to the fact that no more mission in Caucasus is launching with swiss Lipo's values ? -
Hi I just found an issue with the airbrake light of the F-15. Since the last version, it seems that the light showing that airbrake is out, doesn't work. In external view, the airbrake is lifted but no light to verify.

Hi Since the last update of 2.5 beta, if I start the mission in cold and dark, I can't move even after the engine is on. Even if I switch PC on. The handbrake is in a lower position, I've checked.

Thanks for your answer. The track file is a good idea but in this case, I know what ED will say: You have mods, we can't test. But since the issue is known by ED.....

Hi I've noticed something wrong: You set the ADF on a frequency transmitted by an object with advanced options ( set frequency then send a message with loop) You hear the message in the ADF tuner of the Huey and you see the needle showing the good way. You turn the VHF on and contact the tower and you lost the signal on the ADF that you heard some seconds before and the needle looses the good way. As if the ADF receiver has a fail but, strangely, you continue to have the ADF beacons of the map, just this one you put yourself on an object isn't received anymore. An explanation ?

HI I've just noticed that: In some missions I've built, I used to associate with advanced options, some tasks to fortifications. I'd made a mission with a Huey carrying a cargo, taking off from Nalchik and hooking the cargo to supply a radio station in high altitude on a mountain top, and I've established 2 advanced tasks to a generator found in the fortification section: Setting a frequency in AM, 50 W and 225 Khz and sending a message with sound ( Morse U with loop playing). All was running fine. After the update, in the ME, the function is still available but in the mission, no signal at all ! I've just change the generator with a predator, found in the non armed section, and the signal is back again on the ADF receiver of the Huey. No, I've done a mistake, forget all I previously said: It's a bug ! The receiver ADF works if you don't use ATC. If you turn and set the ADF tuner, then after turn the VHF on and use ATC, the ADF doesn't work anymore as if it was in fail. It's not a question about fortification and so on So ED has surely disabled these advanced tasks for the items in the fortification section, even if they're always available in the ME.

Hi yesterday, I've done a flight with P51. Nothing special. Then today, i wanted to use the P-51 again and all my axis settings where reseted, only for the P-51 Happily I had the 2 versions of DCS and I used the OB beta settings files to recover all my settings in the official. It's just a medecine, but that doesn't explain why all these settings has vanished in the haze.

2 exemples: Near Batumi, I've made a group of 4 different ships going along the coast. I launch the mission one time: all ok after launching 3 or 4 times to test, in the same DCS session, one of the ship stays where he is at the start of the mission and don't move anymore. To have it moving again, I must restart DCS. Other exemple: I've built a mission with a "follow me" car towards the runway. If the plane is too far from the car, the car stops waiting the plane, and then, after having reached the runway the car goes away to free the runway. In the same DCS session, after 3 times of testing the mission, the car doesn't move anymore. I must start DCS again to have the car running again.

Hi Joe ! Just a question: As I've asked you after you released the 1.95, about the lights not flashing on stopped police vehicles, I hope I didn't get you offended because you havn't updated since, whereas before you updated your genious mod very often. A reaction in the style " they become too demanding, I stop" If it's the case, it was just a suggest and absolutly not an exigency ( How I could be exigent with a free mod, shared with kindness ?)
