  6. Non Western Planes? Hi, Im really exited about all the great modules being developed currently, but I have been wondering for a while why there aren't more high fidelity russian planes among them. Afaik outside of the Mig 19 by Razbam and maybe the Mi24 by BST there are no non western modules in development at all. I understand that information on modern aircraft might be hard to come by, but surely this can't be the case for older planes like the Su 17/22 or Mig 23? (Btw, does anyone know why Razbam had to pull the plug on that one?)

  8. Thanks for the detailed reply:thumbup: Yeah I didn't mean to imply that planes on both both sides should be perfectly balanced against each other or something. I just think we can propably agree that when things get out of hand and one side is just constantly dominating its hardly fun for anyone involved, especially in a Multiplayer setting with persistent objectives like Blueflag. But it seems like thats really not going to be the case, so everything should be fine!

Hey, no idea if that was fixed and now is broken again, but I too get a 404 on these :( I havn't really bothered much with WW2 Planes in multiplayer until now, how is the balance between axis and allies? I heard the Mustang has some issues competing with its 50cals because of the damagemodelling in DCS, is that true? Is Spitfire a good match for the BF and FW?

  11. Hello Friends, I'm still pretty new to the M2KC and trying to familiarize myself with the Systems. One thing I can,t seem to figure out is how to uncage the standby Attitude Indictator. I tried to press the Knob, turn it both ways and turn it while pressing it, but the flag never goes away. Maybe I missed some Switch on startup? Its propably a really stupid problem with a simple solution, but I checked the Manual and startup tutorial mission several times now, and I just can't get it to work :(. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  13. Hey, I use the Rift too, and it works fine for me in Multiplayer. Have you tried out different servers? maybe there is some setting that prevents it from working properly. No idea otherwise, sorry:(
  14. Thanks a bunch, that did it! :thumbup: Its the Z Axis, here is how you do it in case anyone else has the same Problem: ... MapKey (&Throttle, CSR, AXIS(MOUSE_Z_AXIS, 2, 100)); MapKey (&Throttle, CSL, AXIS(MOUSE_Z_AXIS, -2, 100)); ... The 2/-2 values are the step size and the 100 is the timeout between steps in millisconds. The given Values work quite well for me.
  15. Hey folks, can anyone here tell me how to create mousewheel events in Target scripts? Basically I want to be able to hold one of the WTs coolies in some direction and have this count as continuous mousecrolling until I release the coolie again. Thanks in advance for any help!

Good to hear that it worked :) Yeah, I too normally like to stick to the Briefing and not bend the rules but with the flares not working properly night missions just don't work very well for the KA-50. Out of curiosity, did the illumination flares work for you in the earlier mission where you have to attack the house and then chase down the car? For me they didn't, may be this is actually a problem with the flare canisters and not a bugged mission trigger.

I just flewthat one last Sunday: This is true, and the Flares didn't work for me either, seems to be a bug :( However if you hurry you can get there and complete the mission before it gets dark, thats how I did it. Hopefully that also solves your problem with locking targets. If you are a completionist it's definitely going to be dark by the time you land, wich can be very intersting without NVGs :smilewink: You can just designate targets for him one by one. That way he won't waste missles on trucks and targets not important for your mission, but it obviously takes a bit more time that way. I just designated for him in between attacking targets myself, whenever he finished killing his last one. The only targets you need to kill are the ones way in the back. They are arranged in a neat square formation, IIRC its only Tanks, BMPS, MLRS and Artillerypieces. I found the best way to get them without wasting missles is to wait until the SEAD flight is finished, then fly over the town to left from your ingress point and attack them from there. Hope this Helps :)
  19. I had this crash two times yesterday in the last mission of the Deployment campaign. It's not really reproducable for me either, but if it happens it happens directly after my Pilot gives the Radio command, when the Wingman would normally acknowledge.
  20. You can also try the the Deployment Campaign, it starts of fairly easy with the first few missions centered around getting to know the Navigation and different weapon systems.
  21. I just tried it again and the last update seems to have fixed this.

If you use the Target Script Editor to configure your Warthog you can also use the following script code to assign the 3 position Flaps switch: MapKey (&Throttle, FLAPU, PULSE+L_SHIFT+'f'); MapKeyR (&Throttle, FLAPU,PULSE+'f'); MapKey (&Throttle, FLAPM, 0); MapKey (&Throttle, FLAPD, PULSE+'f'); MapKeyR (&Throttle, FLAPD, PULSE+L_SHIFT+'f'); This won't be affected by new updates, however if your switch position doesn't match the actual flaps position at the start of the session you'll need to fully extend/retract the flaps once to get it synced.
  23. Thanks for the replies sofar guys! I Googled this and it looks really nice, too bad it's out of print:( I found a few copies, but they all go for 300€ or more, which is a bit much for me. I'll definitely keep an eye out on E-Bay tho.
