  1. Yay!
  2. Let's say you have set 6 waypoints, 1 and 6 refer to the same take-off and landing airfield, 2-5 are for enroute navigation. In the ME your take-off and landing points have the number 1 and 6. However, in the PVI they will be Airfield 1, while waypoints no. 2-5 from the ME are nav points 1-4 in the PVI. The PVI only counts enroute waypoints as nav points, take-off and landing points are stored as airfields.
  3. Guys, we already told you multiple times to stop the FT vs TrackIR accusations (against both sides). As you proably know, ED are working on a compromise: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=589080&postcount=40
  4. Another question: did you use the Russian version of BS before installing the English version? If so, did you uninstall the Russian version and install the English version into the same directory? There is another user here who seemed to have the same problem as you, and my guess is that his problem was caused by installing different versions of Black Shark. When you uninstall BS the registry keys will remain on your system, that way you do not loose a deactivation if you want to reinstall it again. However it may be the case that when you install another version (into the same directory) that the old registry keys somehow intermingle with this new version. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35598
  5. @strannick: to install BS just put the setup.exe and data1.cab files into the same directory and run the setup.exe. Nothing else.
  6. Fellas, stop the TrackIR vs. FreeTrack debate and get back on topic!
  7. Shot in the dark: try to deactivate your antivirus before installing (or running) BS, maybe it prevents the copying of certain files.
  8. Any idea what to do?
  9. The GUI and the game engine are separate processes. The GUI is launcer.exe, DCS.exe only appears after starting a mission.
  10. Mate, I understand that you are upset, but your strong language is not going to help anybody. If you want help, please calm down and try to post in a factual manner. Additionally, can you please provide full error messages, "blablabla" is hardly anything useful. The support guys need clear reports in order to find the cause and solutions for a problem. Now, I find your post a little bit confusing. 1. Is it your or your friend's PC where these problems occur? Judging from your other posts it seems that you have/had Black Shark running okay, so I take it it's your friend's. If so, does it occur on his gaming laptop or on another PC? 2. How many versions of Black Shark are involved? You said you bought the download today, but installed your version on his laptop a couple of days ago, so there are at least two version involved. Are these same, i.e. Russian or English download, or Russian DVD, or different versions? EDIT: it seems that you have the same error as the user here, correct? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35606
  11. Right click on your Desktop icon, select properties and remove the "--console" parameter from the target field. When you start BS a console window appears in the background that logs certain actions of the GUI. Maybe it shows some helpful information.

  13. Just found this video, as an old SWAT 4 addict I think it's really cool and well done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGwyuURhzf0 EDIT: hehe, also nice

  14. You can also drop the collective down to minimum and pull the cyclic back all the way, this will slow you down as well. EDIT: sorry, I just checked it and actually you have to add some collective to make it work.
  15. Yep, that's correct. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=420579&postcount=22
  16. Your current graphics resolution is stored in this file: \Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\data\scripts\options.lua
  17. Yeah, indeed arneh! I have always enjoyed EECH, unfortunately since I have my HD4870 it doesn't work anymore.
  18. A few suggestions: 1. If your stick is off center in the device manager all the time, this is a hardware problem. However what you could try to remedy it is to set a small deadzone (either via device manager or directly ingame) for the x- and y-axis. This should cancel the unwanted input. 2. Make sure that you understand the trim function properly. Please refer to this thread, which has a lot of useful information. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35444 Note that setting the trimmer with T does not recenter your virtual stick to the original center position, quite the contrary, it holds the virtual stick in the place where you released the trim button. To reset the trimmer and recenter your virtual stick, press LCTRL + T. 3. As ZaltysZ suggested, press RCTRL + Enter to see a visualization of your actual inputs. This will help you to understand how the trim function works.
  19. To assign an axis, select "Axis commands" from the drop down menu.
  20. With the throttle levers.
  21. According to the manual the FT RPM governor should be set to low when you want to perform a descent with a high sinkrate. See p. 6-12f.
  22. Well FedEx, first off you should better watch your language, okay? Secondly, it seems that you have a wrong impression about what usually happens when you buy proprietary software. You do not own the software itself after the purchase, because all you actually buy is a license that grants you the right to use the software, given that you accept certain terms of use. If you don't believe me just take a look at the EULA of Windows or any other program/game you have bought. In the case of the download version of Black Shark these terms include the limited number of activations and deactivations. Every company is free to specify their own terms of use (within legal limits of course), and if you do not agree with these conditions you are free not to buy the software. So there is absolutely no point in complaining, as you are not forced to do anything. Thirdly, when you come to a new forum first of all make it a habit to read the stickies. If you had read the FAQ you would have known that as long as you do not upgrade your harware in a major way or reinstall you operating system, you can un- and reinstall Black Shark as often as you want without loosing any (de-)activations. So, unless you are somebody who reinstalls his OS every month or buys a new CPU, which is highly unlikely, you should be able to run Black Shark for multiple years. 23. Note that in the mission editor you can setup a Su-25T for example as an AFAC mission, load it with SAB-100 and let it deploy them over your target area (simply set target type to "point"). SAB-100 are containers with battlefield illumination flares, so the AFAC will light up the target area for you and you can use the Shkval just like in daylight conditions. It's a very cool feature.
  24. Backup and open the ...\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\Producer.cfg file with Editor or Notepad++ and change the "ForceFeedbackEnabled = true;" line to "ForceFeedbackEnabled = false;", then save the file.
