  1. Happy Birthday mate!!
  2. Huge collection of US Army Field Manuals at GlobalSecurity.org: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/fm/index.html
  3. Ramstein, please read the announcement in this section, this forum is not the place for MP disputes. :)
  4. For those who don't know it yet, "Over Flanders Fields" is a total conversion of CFS3 that covers WW1 air combat. I have played phase 2 and it is very nicely done. Phase 3 has just been released, the price is $50. More information: http://www.overflandersfields.com/info.htm Interview with "Polovski", one of the makers, over at SimHQ. http://www.simhq.com/_air12/air_395a.html
  5. The complete path is: ...\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\data\scripts\ :)
  6. Mate, 1. as ZaltysZ said, someone from ED already responded to your problem (see Ulrich above, he is head of the testers team) 2. To be honest your rant is a bit inconsequent: you want help from ED, but in order to help you people need to get more information from you, so its actually you who needs to get active. Ulrich asked you two simple questions which you didn't bother to answer yet, and which by no means require a PhD in computer science, only basic computer skills.
  7. Right click on the file, select the properties option. The path is shown in the "location" field on the "General" tab, for example: "C:\Users\Admin\Desktop" The root directory is the topmost directory of the folder hierarchy, i.e. C:\ if you have only one harddrive.
  8. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=568710&postcount=6 No need to download, just look into your Ka-50/bin/stable folder.
  9. Ingress points can only be used in conjuntion with other points send via datalink, wingmen ignore them if sent alone.
  10. It's being used for descends with a high sinkrate, see manual p. 6-12f.
  11. Dunno, but maybe this helps: http://www.migman.com/
  12. According to the EULA it is not allowed to "use" BS on more than one PC at the same time (see 3.1a). However I don't know if you are allowed to install it on two PCs as long as you don't use both simultaneously (e.g. for LAN multiplayer). I will see if I can get an answer to that question.
  13. "Battle of Britain II: Wings of Victory" with the latest updates is another thing to look into, I like it alot. http://www.a2asimulations.com/bob/ http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=42
  14. Black Shark uses Lua for exporting data, so you need to establish some kind of interface between VB and Lua if you want to use the former to process data from Black Shark. I have not seen any tutorials or sample code how to do that. Search the web! There is only a Lua exporting tutorial here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=567&scr=default&lang=en Do you mean that you want to export the frequency the player's radio is currently tuned to? If so from what I can see the tutorial above does not mention this facility, however the tutorial is somewhat older and may be not up to date anymore.
  15. In the past I too thought this was true, but it isn't: usually not the whole VRAM is being assigned addresses from the system-wide address space. For example I have a 1GB card and 4GB of RAM, and both Vista 32 and XP 32 use 3.5GB of RAM, so only 512MB of adress space are being mapped to my vidcard and other devices.
  16. I'm using the profiler for my G11 and it is worling fine in BS. Check if the profiler runs with the same user rights as BS, i.e. admin if you start BS as admin. Btw, the old G11/15 keyboards are simply perfect for BS, I have mapped the ABRIS, autopilot and datalink buttons to one group of G-keys respectively, really handy.
  17. You did notice the date of that post, didn't you? The X38 has nothing to do with Intel Core i7 CPUs, it is an Intel Socket 775 chipset designed for the Core 2 Duo/Quad CPU family. The new Nehalem CPUs aren't even compatible with it. ;)
  18. That's normal, not a bug. :)
  19. One user report here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=36145
  20. There is a list of acronyms in the supplements of the Ka-50 flight manual.
  21. Please note that anything beyond the A-10C is not completely certain at this point in time, things may change in the future. 9-10 months is a rough estimate of the devs, but no promise. ;)
  22. Fellas, take it back to PMs please, will you? ptwparkinson, you mentioned that you extracted files? Does that mean that you manually extracted the Data1.cab file using Winrar or another program? If so this is wrong. All you need to do is to download the setup.exe and Data1.cab files, put them into the same folder and start the setup.exe, then follow the steps of the install wizard. Don't do anything else with the Data1.cab, just move it into the same folder as the setup.exe.
  23. There is no particluar release order in that list, the only certain thing is that the next module will be the A-10C.
  24. ROFL sorry, I misunderstood your post because I didn't read the 2nd one. I just wanted to point you to the requirements for HD space.
  25. Rename it with a .txt suffix or zip it up.
